my most dreaded "get" on halloween were those bland light brown candies with orange & black wrappers. they were usually hard as a rock because they had presumably sat in some candy warehouse for a couple of years before finally being hauled out for the holiday season.

so, uh, where's gabe been? i don't think i've seen him in an episode so far this season. i'm not asking because i miss the character or anything - in fact, if they just dropped him from the show entirely i'd be more than okay with it…

10 strikes & you're out!

I scrolled down to the comments to see if anyone had mentioned Loonatics or Baby Looney Tunes.

Well, if you want to see The Office fall HARD, go for it. Season 8 starts out pleasantly mediocre, continues on a dull gradual downward trajectory for a few episodes, then falls off a cliff somewhere around "Pool Party". I imagine the writer's room for the season being either entirely apathetic about the shit stories

I had the time to run through the entire series in the background this summer while doing some illustration work. My better judgement told me not to put on Season 8, but I figured, hell, I watched up through the end of Season 7, I may as well re-watch season 8, too.
I thought it was mediocre-to-lousy when I watched it

Maybe it's too soon, but I'd nominate The Office: Season 8 for MWOF. I just finished re-watching it & it's EVEN WORSE than I recalled it being from when it originally aired. I mean, the show was definitely in decline going into the season, but Jesus Christ, what a nosedive! Both a critical & commercial failure - it's

From what I've heard / read, WB gutted "Looney Tunes". About 1/3 of what ended up on-screen was part of Joe Dante's original vision for the film.

ugh - that's got to be the worst episode of the entire series. and, of course, it's one of the episodes adult swim airs most often. trying to convince people that, no, moral orel is actually really good if that's one of the first ones they've seen is pretty much futile…

agreed, though i gave it a C+. i wasn't too into this episode on the whole, but there were enough good bits to make it worthwhile.

why did ralph still have the voice of an 8 year old boy? someone during production must have thought bart referring to him as ralph & the dozen or so ralph-isms he said during his brief appearance wasn't enough to cue the audience in… i think they stopped just short of having him wear an "I'M RALPH WIGGUM" t-shirt.

while it was certainly one of the better episodes in recent memory, "one of the best ever" seems like a bit of a stretch…
