Totally agree on all counts. FFXIV’s account management and all services related to the game itself are a complete mess and a horrible tangled web to navigate. The UI and UX of some of the areas of their web portals looks like they are stuck in the 90’s.

It DOES seem smaller, but that’s mainly because there is more plastic surrounding the screen, and also because GBA games do not use the entire DS screen, as the aspect ratio is different, so it’s slightly letterboxed. I own both a DS lite and a GBA SP ags-101 backlit (and a gba micro) and actually prefer playing gba

5? I Hope you’re a time traveller and you’re really not calling FO76 Fallout 5. :-P

I think you are taking his meaning of “hold them accountable” a bit too literally.

The fact that this has been in development while FFXV was also in development, and FFXV was released several years ago and had a bunch of DLC released after that (all the while maintaining and releasing a ton of content for FFXIV, an enormous mmo), should tell you that SquareEnix is more than willing and capable of

Thats because the strengths of BotW are just very different than other “traditional” Zelda games.

What?

I wouldn’t really call this a make or break feature for a Mario maker game, still gonna be an amazing game.

I thought it was a typo lol, what is the reference?

Movies? I mean you’d need at least a LOTR type trilogy to do any sort of justice to the books (and probably more like 4-5 movies) and at the point you are easily in decade territory to make/release that many movies.

This is why I prefer the PSN Classics versions, on Vita. I can play Final Fantasy I through X-2 on a single portable device, on the go, in their original, mostly unaltered forms.

Ah EVE, the game that is so interesting to read about, with all its politics and intrigue...but actually playing it... not so much. :-P

I know, I know. They need to stop releasing so many good games for PS4. :-P

Just another reminder that I really need to start Automata one of these days..its still sitting unopened on my shelf, shamefully relegated to my ever-growing PS4 backlog.

I mean that’s one of the core things that separate BR from other shooter modes like last man standing, that initial scavenging/looting phase.

I think the beauty of the game is it’s simplicity, and is near perfect because of it. No extraneous filler or throwaway features just to pad out the game. Not every game needs to be this big sprawling epic.

Yeah thats almost 12hrs a day, every day, since launch... I hope for the sake of his general health and well being that he is embellishing quite a bit. :-P

The actual shooting, in contrast, feels less freeing.

Oh man, I really hope this is true. Being able to rapid-fire launch projectile med pack canisters that are bouncing all over the place sounds super hectic and fun.

If you’re playing the game for the story, NPCs (and more accurately, “living” NPCs) give the plot agency. When you’re immersed in a world and story that has other living characters besides yourself, it raises the stakes on how things unfold, with how they affect the factions, relationships, etc. Instead of just all
