In the previous article about him, they said for games with no true win condition, he just played them until he exhausted all possibly gameplay and scenarios or until things started looping.

The reason is pretty simple really, bigger case = more noticeable on store shelves. That, and they need to differentiate it enough from 3DS/portable games, and show that it is indeed a “console level” game.
What is a “normal” interface?
At this point, I think the closest thing to those games on PS4 is probably ‘World of Final Fantasy’. There’s also Kingdom Hearts 3 on the horizon to look forward to!
Awesome. Have over 80+ hrs logged in Wrath of the White Witch and loved every minute of it, that game just oozed polish and charm. Imo it is a top contender for the most beautiful looking game of all time.
Ah Wave Race, that great jet skiing game featuring Derek Jeter.
I doubt it. The clans games are such farmville-y and casual, strategy-lite type games. I don’t see that userbase having the patience for a fire emblem title.
Each new idea is explored just long enough for you to get the hang of it, then dropped before it gets old.
I’m assuming its because its a much longer and laborious process to push patches and updates on consoles than it is on PC, due to having to go through the middleman of Microsoft/Sony, where you need to get the updates approved/certified, deployed to the console’s own update servers, ect ect. Kinda defeats one of the…
With the much improved enemy nameplates, along with the new resource bars directly below your character theres really no real need for UI addons imo. Especially if you’re not a hardcore raider.
Well remember that levels don’t directly translate to skill. Yeah, winning more matches and getting more medals and stuff will help raise your level faster, but mostly it’s just that those high level people have been able to put more time into the game, not that they’re that much better.
Its all about having alts. Once you get around maybe 5 characters or so to lvl 100 (with level 3 garrison, and an Inn) you should be good to go. Use the Inn to recruit more followers with the Treasure Hunter trait (which multiplies the gold rewards you get per follower on the mission). With that, you should be able to…
Oh good to know. What is the setting called that controls the pausing/freeze-frame effect?

I love the fact that they gave an in-game justification for those settings, definitely should make it feel less like you’re kinda cheating. Also putting the sliders one click away in a the “R Button Menu” is a nice touch too, instead of having to dive into the game’s main system settings every time.
Although its hard to complain about the combat, since it is an MMO, and probably has the best action-based combat of any MMO out there... but I do wish it didn’t have those split second pauses/freeze frames in the animations, makes it look kinda stuttery/janky. Would love it was just a bit smoother, closer to the…
It....is in HD?
Apparently so:
