As someone who works for a Tier 1 auto supplier in Michigan, $37K is close to what a typical worker on the line makes right now — and that’s only after wages rose significantly in the last 4 years. (In the mid ‘teens, $13/hr starting pay was typical.) And where I work, raises are negligible, at best. (Get this: work

Cost of living was much lower in 1912. Wage stagnation is real.

What a cool guy. IMHO the HP franchise owes most of its success to the supporting cast- him, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, etc lent their prodigious skill to make the movies much better than they deserved to be.

I hate it when I’m forced to star something as opposed to freely giving it.

How about some Kraft Mack and Seize...

He should have went with Heinz 57 recovery or Lea & Perrins towing instead

They’re not even that bad compared to the new one:

I give you the Lexus LM350/ Toyota Alphard.

It’s got the predator grille combined with a jacked up El-Camino-ish side profile with a floating roof.

And it pains me, because in many ways the Alphard is a freaking awesome vehicle. The older model was boring, but at least it wasn’t hideous.

Not even close. The Supra skinned BMW. And before you ask, yes, I’ve seen it in person many times. It’s even worse.

That Jeep is absolutely horrendous.

Almost always driven by a nervous-looking short guy, btw.

BMW XM

It’s still his choice to live where he does and spend beyond his means, not to mention having a child. There are plenty of people living where he does on less money and not going immediately into deep debt just after going through bankruptcy and blowing $35k on a stupid car with an even more stupid interest rate.

Seems like an opportunity for the floor plan provider to extend a line of credit for the tax incentive and the dealer just pays it off in rolling increments once the gov pays.

I get where you’re coming from and I agree, but come on. A Charger is not a requirement to get around a city. It’s an unreliable, overpriced pig of a poorly slapped-together gas guzzler only bought by the stupidest people in our society who base their life decisions off Instagram posts and music videos.

Cars are not freedom.

That’s what Japan is doing, basically.

Fair enough.  And these kids are way smarter than I was at their age, or hell even now LOL

No one is trapped in the Tesla. There are mechanical releases for the front doors within reach. Corvettes have had electric doors with separate mechanical releases for years. I do agree that as a rental that Hertz is to blame. There is driver education needed here. The L2 J1772 adapter is pointless, they should have

theyve also needed about a forty times more power.
