BWA HA HA HA HA, 1ST tier city! Yeah right! Go to a real city. See how it should be done. NYC is a toilet. Only a moron would live there on purpose.
Have they patented magnetic board games yet? Because this could end up with one hell of a Risk game on family vacation.
Dude’s super busy: going to hop in a Fiesta WRC car for a couple events, getting the Ford Focus RS RX into rallycross some and help developing Arpin’s RX car. Where did I go wrong in life that “race all the cars” isn’t what I do?
You know to chuckle knowingly and condescendingly when some dumbass refers to the “V4" in their Honda Civic.
Because they want to protect their amazing new designs? Including on the dashboard, the door panels, and the gas cap? Other than the i8, BMW hasn’t done a theft-worthy design in decades. Harumph.
Even if the tire had been changed properly and the wheel gun sensor was designed properly, there is nothing in the system that protects a pit crew member who might be in front of a wheel. It’s a wonder this hadn’t happened sooner. It’s a testament to the skill of all pit crews that no one has been in front of a wheel…
And lets not forget to critique the methodology of this study: fucking self-reporting. Because people don’t lie through their teeth when they are being asked questions they feel they’re being judged on at all.
I can believe it. Chicago implemented a per-ounce tax that lasted all of a four or five months (the outrage!). During that time I tried to not buy any sodas or Gatorades or what-have-you but sometimes I just really wanted a fucking Dr. Pepper or opted for a combo meal with a soda. I could affordthe tax, I just didn’t…
Psst...he’s missing the sarcasm tag.
Wait, is this not a thing in the states? In Canada cigarettes are like 10% cost, and 90% tax.
Sounds like you’re all for restricting the use of food stamps to exclude or curtail junk food, then?
I tend to agree, but I don’t see how that applies here when the point is to get fewer people drinking soda? Not being a jerk, I’m serious. I guess the true question is - is (bottled) water more expensive than soda?
I saw that “Chun Li” was trending on Twitter the other day and BOY was I surprised when I clicked through.
Just one big ol meh. Now that celebs know how lucrative it is to get involved with “nerd” properties I wish someone would stop them. Someone like Chun Li
Do some research on how speed limits are determined. I am not advocating tearing ass through a neighborhood, but speed limits, the things that define speeding can be and are set arbitrarily low. In that case, fuck the police and the people who set the limits. In another case, the dipwad doing 15 under on a two lane…
Ever heard of the “85th percentile” rule? That’s what logical, thinking people use to set speed limits, but politicians won’t use that because they can’t make any money off tickets when one sets them that way. So we get what we got, bullshit too-low speed limits.
It’s a revenue generation system that does not prevent speeding. It simply collects money from those not familiar with the camera location. Everyone else, slows down just below the threshold of the camera for a second, then speed right back up. Speed cameras do NOTHING for safety.
People who speed, and even tangentially defend speeding or running red lights like this, piss me off.
