States wiith a higher EV adoption rate also have a larger charging network and have more affluent people to afford the EV price hike. Take Texas for example. They have Houston and Austin where EV adoption is MUCH MUCH higher than say Dallas or more rural areas.  Hell, even the suburbs that can be miles from anything…

Expecting Toyota to spend a penny of record profits to make a new performance platform over a bloated CUV model is a fools errand.
