At some point he will want to start dating again. Driving a Saab or a Volvo means he ain’t getting any from the ladies.

“needs to ... be reliable” Missed that part did ya?

I look forward to bidding on these on govliquidation.com

I learned back in the mid 90s iirc that building puters to the latest greatest tech and chasing upgrades as they come out will bankrupt a person. I learned that last years tech is way cheaper and performs at 90% + as well as the most recent stuff. Keep your old iPhone and when it breaks buy another NIB old model or

Phiily huh? Don’t leave your keys in the car.

“You ain’t lie for a minute.”

“Parker put $3,390 down up front” In 1991 this would have paid cash for a decent and dependable used car. Maybe not a 3 yr old 4wd truck which is what the subprime buyer thought he ‘deserved’.

It is OK to put a young girl in danger behind the wheel of a race car but let’s all be shocked if some beer swilling fan asks her to sharpie his beer gut? The girl could say no. Just an idea.

So it would be OK to ask her to autograph a certain part of my body? I am hardly misogynistic but am I the only one here who is a bit tired of the woman racer articles? It is a freaking car site, must this too be drug thru the PC mud.

I did not vote because I hold no strong opinion either way. Not for me but it might work for someone younger and willing to drive an overpowered fwd econobox. It’s a Sentra for gawd’s sake which is not fit for any adult who does not support himself by flipping burgers to drive. We had an Altima SE-R for a month or

Imagine this noise made by a 16 yr old girl... Ewww!!

#13. He is a bad luck rider. Very bad form but hardly attempted murder as some said. Go to a local dirt track car race. If you get thru an evening without a wreck where the drivers jump out and start swinging you should ask for your money back.

Seatbelt fire risk... you just can’t make that kind of shit up. What’s next, melting windshields?

Our home has a few hard rules, no wiggle room and I don’t care how a visitor feels about them. You are welcome here, judt do not willingly abuse the riles or you will leave. I expect no less when I visit another’s home or car plant. Don’t like parking your Kia in the North 40 of the Chevy plant? Home Depot is hiring.

Fail for suggesting a Hyundai.

Yep, Hyundai, because why buy a car that will be dependable when the warranty is gone. Or 3 years which ever comes first.

What year? I am a bike guy moreso than a car guy. I would give a 70/80s GS a looksee. Bikes are cheap horsepower. It is cheap to find and daily driver a classic bike. ‘83 big Magna is my ride. You can find these in near pristine shape for $3k nowadays.

Not so much an article as it is an ad aimed at college grads? Chronic reliability problems, not a good fit for someone just starting out in life, nor for that matter someone who can afford to drop the car in the trash every time it breaks.

I can’t speak to ugly not having seen your Mom’s house but you do realize there are people out here in the countryside doing just fine? I am one of them.

These are a rebadged Mitsu Montero. I owned a Montero once. What a POS that was. Tranny was heading South rapidly at appx 120k when it was saved by a cracked block. Look up reliability ratings on Mitsus and especially the Montero. As added ammo I happen to know a guy who is half heartedly restoring a Raider. I
