Yeah, that’s why I give a good bit of the blame to the writing. Also, I just don’t believe comedy is her strength. She’s not someone who can sell an unfunny line, like Kate Mckinnon and Amy Poehler used to do on SNL. If you write her funny lines, she will be funny, but she is not capable of selling unfunny writing.

I actually generally like Sarah Paulsen, but she was terrible on that show, probably mostly because of the writing. Her character was supposed to be a comic genius, but she just was not funny. They kept telling us, but never showed us.
