Sony simply doesn’t have the resources to buy a publisher as large as Activision Blizzard.

Size-wise, Microsoft had more cash-on-hand than Sony’s entire market-cap (roughly $130bn). Market-cap wise, Microsoft is roughly 25x the size of Sony, which is why Activision-Blizzard was only in play for a company as large and

That would require Kotaku to actually do simple research, which is largely a thing of the past with the majority of the writers.

They clarified the 500 hours is if you wanna replay the game with multiple endings and decisions. the campaign and side quest are no where near 500 hours in a single run. this headline is misleading and so is the article that follows it.

I don’t even know why they bother maintaining the present day bits of the AC series. Just make cool historical games without them. It’s not as if the games use the conceit well at this point, it’s mostly just inoffensive and out of the way at best.

I blew through it in about 45 minutes, this is making a mountain out of a mole hill, as per usual Kotaku has to complain about something beyond trivial.

Eh, if it stays long enough, they’ll start calling it that. No one calls the Dolby Theater the “Kodak Theater” anymore. Nor the Honda Center “The Pond”. Microsoft Theater used to be The Nokia (and The Novo used to be Club Nokia). The Fonda used to be The Music Box. Ownerships change, names change, people eventually

Between this, Dickinson, and Hawkeye, I think Hailee Steinfeld is trying to take over the streaming world on every service, and I'm Ok with that

Yeah, I never got into LoL despite many attempts by friends to drag me into that cesspool, but I always found the characters interesting at least.

This show is fantastic. Never played LoL, but have had a small passing interest in some of their shorter lore clips in the past (brought on by liking that Warriors song in Sweet Home).
But wow, this show. The animation and scenes are fantastic and so is the VA, some of the best I’ve heard in Western animation, every

But didn’t you hear, everything must be for everyone all the time or we’ll complain that it’s too hard!

The combat looks similar sure(which is good since people love the combat).  But the areas, enemies, and overall design all seem quite new.  Also the whole open world aspect with mounted traversal is pretty new to the Dark Souls formula.

Nothing more humbling than finding out a game you’ve never heard of is the most popular game in the world (I mean that sincerely).

The good thing about the internet is that it connects all people and gives everyone a voice.

Does anyone remember the innocence of the early internet? We thought access to information would free people’s minds, and anonymity would free them from tyrannical government... Instead, broken, lonely individuals just used it to create bizarre alternate realities where hatred and social failure is normal, and freedom

I feel that way about sooo many properties. So many shows or movies do this incredible job of world/universe building, so rich with potential material, and then we follow the same 4 people around in remake after remake.

and because it makes uptight yuppies clutch their pearls.

Come on Luke, a bit of fact checking would be nice!
Corpsegrinder is not the singer of a band called Corpsegrinder (although he was in a band called that back in the early 90's, but he wasn’t called Corpsegrinder in that band), he’s the singer of Cannibal Corpse.

Admittedly, death metal is a bit niche, but Cannibal

Ultima Online remains, and will always be, my favorite game of all time. It was the first large scale foray into the MMORPG market, and the frontier at that time was wild, untamed, and unexplored.
