Capcom should really consider making another 2D fighter. I enjoy their sprite work way more than this newfangled 3D poppycock.

MvC is like the pinnacle of over the top crazy. It’s been like this since at least MvC2 and that game is 16 years old.
I don’t know if this just makes me sound like an old fart, but I really hate the way these games look and feel now. The graphics feel weird, and the action is too frenetic and OTT.
That sounds like way too much trouble. I just want to play the game and enjoy the story. If a game can’t do that on its own, it fails as a storytelling device.
I think Final Fantasy has died for me since FF9. I want the fantasy part back. Just remake 6 after 7.
I must be the only person who hates the Witcher. I find no appeal to it. I also find it boring with the whole “I’m super gruff and have lots of sex!”. I don’t really want to play as that. That and the gameplay felt crappy to me. Maybe I’m just to use to games like Skyrim and Fallout.
For once, someone shares my view of Geralt and is able to articulate how that can actually massively impact the enjoyment of the game! A few of my friends can’t understand why I’d prefer Skyrim to Witcher 3; amongst other things, it’s down to my inability to feel ANY connection with the playable character. Thanks for…
Yeah. Some people are picky about it, others could care less. I generally find (at least among my peers) that RPG goers tend to be more selective about games they enjoy (or in some cases, even play) because of the lead character. I’m all about character creation. I write a lot of fiction, and one of my favorite things…
I keep seeing this absolute bullshit response time and time again on this and other gaming sites. How about you test for the 4 general control setups in pc using up to date hardware? It isn’t fuckin rocket science. AMD CPU+NVIDIA GPU, AMD CPU+AMD GPU, INTEL CPU+NVIDIA GPU, INTEL CPU+AMD GPU. And don’t tell me Bethesda…
Back when MGS was interesting. Patriots was pretty bad story wise, and MGS5 has no story (or characters that have any depth or emotion). I think the mistake with this franchise was the decision to go back and relive the days of Big Boss, who ultimately turns into one of the most uncharasmatic and bland/dull characters…
Yeah, SR3 was a really big surprise for me. I remember getting it on Steam cheap and ended up plugging around 60 hours into it, both solo and with a friend. It basically said, “Look, we’re emulating some of GTA but to a lesser quality and then doing everything else insane — love us or hate us,” and it turned out to be…
I’m very similar in this, i never really liked to play “as” someone, especially if they try to improve the story by adding more detailed personality and voice to your character. I get it that it’s easier to write a story if your character has a fixed role to play in it, but plenty other games succeeded to be…
Saints Row did it’s own thing, and the result was pure insanity. I remember having a really fun time playing the whole SR3 campaign with my friend.
Agreed. It’s the reason I’m turned off. That, and it feels like a cheaper GTA-rip featuring a niche gimmick (hacking ... excuse me, hacking everything!). Also, I tend to have to like the main character in these types of games somewhat, and neither main in either Watch Dogs game does it for me. I liked Claire in WD,…
*salutes*
I wasn’t a fan of the marketing and “hip and edgy” tone of the game.
From watching Lirik stream the game, I quickly was put off by how silly it was trying to be, but it was really forced and didn’t even feel like satire (ala GTA). The dialogue was not that hot, the animations and cutscenes were... eh. Not sure how it goes beyond the first couple hours, but it was really hard to watch…
You people miss the OP’s point. Your instant-response is so predictable, and tiresome: “Simply don’t click the article!” Yes, I’m sure Crider didn’t know that, for he comes off as such an unintelligent poster! (/sarcasm).
Is it just me or does default male Shepard look like he would have kicked this default male Ryder’s ass?
Interesting, but still nothing that new. I would have rather seen this as a MMO. Yep, still salty about Titan.
