If a trans-person doesn’t receive their hormone therapy, are they at risk of going into some sort of coma and/or dying? Seriously asking, because I don’t know the ends and outs of hormone therapy in regards to trans-people like I do insulin and synthroid..

That sounds a hell of a lot worse than refusing to use a certain pronoun...

Maybe the teacher is a really good teacher, despite this one thing. Maybe that’s what the kids are walking out for. Maybe it has nothing to do with trans-anything.

I’m betting it has something to do with some fire safety regulation. If a fire broke out, or there were some other emergency, the chances of her getting trampled are much higher if she’s sitting on the floor rather than sitting in a seat or standing.

I’ve been cooking on my own for about 25 years, have never washed any of my meats, and have never been sick from it... Not saying it’s right or wrong, because I also have no problem leaving pizza out on the stove over night and eating it at room temperature for the next day or so.

From my own experience, and from what I understand, a ton of sexual assaults against men go unreported. This is mainly due to it not being taken as seriously as assault against women. With that in mind, how can we be sure women don’t, in fact, commit sexual assault at the same rate?

I had no idea the cash-bail system was resulting effectively in municipal debtors prisons for people involved in minor traffic or other offenses.

But there’s no ‘B’ in his last name...

Or, you know.. A single shooting that happens in an apartment building/hall is a little different than a person dressed in full military gear, with a high powered rifle, walking the streets shooting and killing multiple people with no regard for the protestors that were nearby.

Of course no charges were pressed. Can you imagine if this guy was black? The cops probably would have filled him full of holes as soon as they saw him.
