Who determines what speech falls under the “hate” banner though? I understand how a country doesn’t end, but at the same time, is it a hard line in the sand, or is it flexible? And in which direction is it flexible? What happens when “I’m not sure I like the idea of x” becomes hate speech?

And it sucks.. I’m not against raising the minimum, at all. I’m against it raising by several dollars at once. A lot of states are taking a multi-year approach to it, which I think is good for the most part, but hopefully it doesn’t turn out like construction on the highway; they get finished widening the highway only…

They, They, They, They... You’re espousing that in a way that makes me think you’re generalizing a large group of people, some of which may take issue with the statues being torn down, yet don’t follow the other stereotypes you wish they did.

I doubt being the son of is enough to get a statue removed.

Yes. I make $15/hr plus commission, so I won’t be affected as much. But, someone that only gets $15/hr, their buying power decreases.

Just to point this out before hand, most of my argument is just devils advocate. I do have a good paying job, and I did have trouble with drugs when I was in my mid-late 20s, but I’ve been clean for 10 years (except for pot), and my car seems to be fine, minus my a/c being out.
