@carrlander: PFFF maybe YOU don't stroke your face and point at the mirror after a shave.

@Scott Dixon: You may be right, but to this day no matter what game I'm playing, my parents (who had the money back then) still refer to it as "Playing Nintendo".

@leo_landio: They still make games of questionable quality that are still reasonably popular. Bayonetta for one.

@Gavin Choules-Burbidge: Not to mention all the Blu-Ray or DVD players that could come with the glasses and transmitter.

@parkur: The last movie I watched of his was Lady in the Water, a movie that existed solely to say "I'm just as important as Jesus, and nobody, especially critics, can tell me otherwise."

Somebody put a (glassesless) 3-D tv in that bad boy.

@dgolant: Ahhh. Hey, I may seem pretty down on Vegas, but anything at all is good to start with, especially when money is a concern. I've never bought any software myself, I've been lucky enough to have gotten low level jobs so I could learn the software.

@AMoliski: Assholes. The only thing that makes me feel better about that is that those kinds of people will never have the subtlety and nuance to create anything that can compete with the professional market.

I'm wondering why you guys don't just run it through a batch resize in photoshop?

@dgolant: Personally, I use Final Cut and After Effects. I've seen Vegas actually running like, once. I thought it was a motion graphics program.

@dgolant: AE. leaps and bounds past Vegas. No pro that I know uses Vegas. Better yet, find a way to learn them as many editing systems as possible.

@MercerCh00x: Even crazier: I'll probably hardly ever use my iphone as a phone. I've never been a talk on the phone kinda guy.

@Droid800: I barely use my iphone as a phone, which is why I'll have no complaints when I get mine.

@LaziestManOnMars: An excellent price! Look around the site, he has some great tutorials that are completely free. A lot of them.

@.Trenchant.: Now that is compelling, and something I hadn't thought of before. I do have quite a few applications that I wouldn't want to lose the ability to use.
