If you’ll cut me a year of slack ( I think they came out in ‘99) but a Saab Viggen. I saw one at the auto show in St. Louis. I guess i was around 13 and fell in love with it.
25 years ago is effectively when I was really into cars. Those high-school to undergrad years when you could still dream about the car you’d buy when you had real money, and limited financial sense. Before reality, in other words, pulled a Lucy to your Charlie Brown of a world view. You’d think this would make it easy…
No, you are close minded. There is no purity in your assessment.
The fact that you call them “pigs” immediately drops your credibility. Fan of law enforcement or not, you can’t honestly believe that every (or even most) LEOs want to shoot and kill citizens.
That’s just asinine.
He was lied to, then he took the further steps of believing the lie, learning ok depth what to say and do, and trying to use the lie.
“Where’s the moral outrage about an obviously mentally ill person being unjustly kill by (multiple) police officers?

Did anyone else feel like the short episode along with the pacing made the whole thing feel…disappointing?
What’s the point in making all of those awful X6M things if they aren’t going to keep making the cool cars too?
Interesting. I hope the quality stays up there. We bought a TCL Roku years ago and liked it so much we bought another and moved the old, smaller TV into a different room. I’ve recommended them to multiple people and even bought one for my mom.
Cool.
Now please tell us about the Clown Shoe and the X5!
Already beyond bored with the over-the-top “Humans are the real monsters” sociopathic community leader villains. Weren’t we tired of them from 177 episodes of Walking Dead? Are we still surprised and entertained by cartoonish Freddy Krueger villain stalking?
I love the idiotic TV-writer brain that creates a settlement of people where only two people participate or have any agency and the rest of the community just sits there doing nothing. Very subtle, complex storytelling.
This was almost like a Walking Dead episode to me. The structure felt familiar.
I76 through the Philly area. The Schuylkill Expressway otherwise known as the Surekill Expressway. Random traffic jams at all hours of the day and the weekends.
Why is this story in slide form? By doing so did it make the story easier to read? No. Did it make it more interesting? No. Did annoy this reader? Yes.
Why not present it straight, with perhaps a slideshow of the images?
i mean best of luck to your kid, but hard disagree. 16-17 year olds have double the rate of accidents than any other age group, have the highest injury rate, and are basically tied with the elderly for highest fatality rate. telling your kid “hey I could protect you more but you need to learn the hard way” is not good…
The “-ussy” suffix is a callback to the word “pussy” and has exploded on the Internet in recent years.
