If you’ll cut me a year of slack ( I think they came out in ‘99) but a Saab Viggen. I saw one at the auto show in St. Louis. I guess i was around 13 and fell in love with it.

25 years ago is effectively when I was really into cars. Those high-school to undergrad years when you could still dream about the car you’d buy when you had real money, and limited financial sense. Before reality, in other words, pulled a Lucy to your Charlie Brown of a world view. You’d think this would make it easy

No, you are close minded.  There is no purity in your assessment.

The fact that you call them “pigs” immediately drops your credibility. Fan of law enforcement or not, you can’t honestly believe that every (or even most) LEOs want to shoot and kill citizens.

That’s just asinine.

He was lied to, then he took the further steps of believing the lie, learning ok depth what to say and do, and trying to use the lie.

Where’s the moral outrage about an obviously mentally ill person being unjustly kill by (multiple) police officers?

What’s the point in making all of those awful X6M things if they aren’t going to keep making the cool cars too?

Cool.

Now please tell us about the Clown Shoe and the X5!

I76 through the Philly area. The Schuylkill Expressway otherwise known as the Surekill Expressway. Random traffic jams at all hours of the day and the weekends.

i mean best of luck to your kid, but hard disagree. 16-17 year olds have double the rate of accidents than any other age group, have the highest injury rate, and are basically tied with the elderly for highest fatality rate. telling your kid “hey I could protect you more but you need to learn the hard way” is not good

“There can be only ONE Hi-”

:obligatory ‘There Can Be Only One’ Highlander joke:

The current gen 4runner needs to be replaced. It’s had some upgrades, but it’s been 2010 since it came out and Toyota needs to put the hammer down and get Gen6 out. Please.

I would have to say my ‘14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I have just over 110K miles on it now and it runs and drives as it did when it was new. No major issues other than recall stuff. Air suspension makes for a nice ride, especially for long trips. Logged a couple 12 hour trips in it only stopping for gas and bio

Often true about BMWs, but these are comparatively simple, easy to maintain and repair and parts are plentiful and cheap. As someone else mentioned, I would just check the subframe welds in the trunk.

Ferrari 550 Maranello

wait until you find out about coupes....you are gonna lose it.
