It’s a LaFerrari Aperta - I don’t actually know if this is a special 70th Anniversary livery or if they are using the “70" badging on all of the Apertas. You can see the “70" in front of the rear wheel.

I was also behind a LaFerrari and trying REALLY hard not to rear end him.....we had a blast despite the slow speeds (for most of it) and it was incredible to see the sheer variety of F cars out there on the track.
They announced over the loudspeaker at one point on Saturday that one of the F1 Clienti cars had unofficially posted the fastest lap ever run on the road course...I can’t remember what it was though. The Challenge cars were running around 1:49 or 1:50 and want to say the F1 pace was about 13 seconds faster.
I was going to suggest this as well, but technically its a crossover. Easier to find and more affordable than the JGC ST8.
Your use of the technical term is appreciated.
Definitely the worst. I’ve started using outlet receptacles that let you touch the lamp to turn it on to circumvent these affronts to mankind.
Until one of your “friends” pantsed you in the middle of the 6th grade dance. At least I still had my Gap pocket tee.
I had to drive by a quarry exit on my way to work most mornings and would end up behind a convoy of these guys. There was a traffic light about 1/4 mile from the quarry and I could easily have gotten out of my car and outrun the dump trucks from a dead stop for at least 500 yards. I changed my route to work as a…
+1 for Susquehanna reference.
I think they were referring to one of his other cars that IS street legal - though I see the confusion.
The sound is glorious. Was in Jupiter FL and heard one coming from a half mile away (didn’t know what it was, just heard it) and pulled over because I knew I didn’t want to be distracted when whatever was making that angelic sound passed by. It turned out to be a silver Carrera GT not long after they were first…
I haven’t found anything better than what you mentioned. In terms of service records a transmission service at or near the same time as a radiator replacement would be one giveaway. Unfortunately a replacement radiator or separate transmission cooler are potential signs that pink milkshake occurred, but alternately…
Also look out for rear axle seal/bearing leaks and valve cover leaks, both of which are fairly common although not terribly expensive to fix. If you get a Limited trim (from at least 2000 on and maybe earlier) they also have full time 4WD which can be helpful if you don’t want to run PT 4WD in rain or sporadic road…
Just last week I had an entire overhead garage door motor, chain and overhead/side tracks fall off a garage repair truck about 50 feet in front of me. Luckily it was on a 25mph street next to my house and not on the highway and i was able to stop. The garage repair guys thought it was hilarious...
Been debating getting one of the claybar orbital pads- thanks for chiming in on them.
Sometimes. But other times you get to sit down and puke into a bag (thanks Benign Positional Vertigo!) and make the poor guy sitting next to you horribly uncomfortable while your boss watches from across the aisle and laughs uncontrollably.
It’s a two seater. Saw one in person a few weeks ago at a local Concours and it might be my favorite late model Ferrari. I get the comparisons to the C7 but in person it’s different enough and gets rid of the rear end of the standard F12 that I don’t really care for.
Great call - this and Pearl Jam Ten were on constant rotation in our early 90s weight room.
