The 4th gen 4Runners have a secondary glove compartment inside and above the regular glove compartment. It had a black plastic front cover that matched the rest of the glove compartment and a very tiny release tab - it was a great feature.

Not the first time an offensive line has gotten him killed.....

I mentioned my dad’s 1970 280SL in a comment below, but he and my mom also have an ‘87 325i convertible (manual!) that they bought new. My sister has called dibs on the Pagoda (not sure if that will stand because she knows nothing about cars and I’m older) but I’ve got a soft spot for the e30. It was just repainted

My old man has a 1970 280sl - so not quite 1960s but still a Pagoda. It runs nearly flawlessly but the paint is literally chipping off in spots and its got some rust on the chrome. I’ve been trying to convince him to restore it before parts become unattainable - the prices for these cars have been skyrocketing (along

I’ll also add that I had an Infiniti loaner a couple months ago that had an empty box of pregnancy tests in the center console - when I dropped it off I told the valet that they weren’t mine, but that whoever had it the day before either had a really good day or a really bad day.

Mid-60s guy that I bought my 3rd gen 4Runner from told me that if I found any little blue pills in the car that I should just throw them away....I found a handful over the course of the next year. I threw them away. Sorry.

I don’t have enough confederate flags (zero) to fit in.....

I really thought this was going to be a Demuro post......that title seemed like a dead giveaway!

Here, let me do your job for you:

My mom got an ‘87 new (and still has it) and used to drive all 3 of us kids around in the backseat regularly....I wouldn’t want to sit back there for any extended time as an adult but its definitely usable.

In clownshoe or convertible....

It was a fun car while it lasted and was a beast on Blizzaks in the winter but the maintenance.....sheesh. I had to build an addition on my house just to store the spare DI cassettes.

I had a ‘99 as well and the torque steer at WOT when the turbo kicked in was pretty squirrely, even with the 2.0T.

Fountain Cherry Coke. That is all.

The two most effective ways I’ve found to uncover this are to google the contact # posted in Craigslist and see if it turns up any other vehicles for sale. (This can also be done using text from the ad that sounds like it could be re-used across other ads especially if there is a word misspelled more than once as they

This is exactly what I do and I have no control over it despite being acutely aware of the trouble it gets me into....the good news is that you’ve given me the idea to start bringing a clipboard in the car on the rare occasions I’m riding shotgun and my wife is driving.

I knew there was something else that bothered me....the dead pixels.....oof.

Totally agree - I had a ‘99 9-3 and the interior/dash/ergonomics were great with one glaring exception - the pop-out cupholder.

Any advice around the best way to file a diminished value claim? Other driver's insurance covered $14k of repairs to my Sienna as they were at fault but I'm gonna take it in the pants on when I decide to sell/trade it.

Reading Ferrari Concours in Reading, PA - A small but fairly impressive show but unfortunately in the process of being moved this year. It looks like but might end up at Simeone. Also agree with Stig's Radnor Hunt suggestion.
