I heard that same thing, and posted about it - it was a pretty innocuous comment. I noted that minority voters, women, LGBTQ, and so forth people are all “ordinary Americans,” last I checked, and that Bernie ought to figure that out and stop talking about fellow citizens as if we’re separate species.

Bernie and his supporters seem to operate under the assumption that Black folks’ votes are still worth 3/5 of White people’s. It’s like if they can’t win an election by flipping Fox News viewers over to their side, then the election isn’t worth winning.
