Something I find interesting is what we learn about the League’s succession process… and the fact that Ra’s is clearly going for a dynastic power grab.

Y’know, this same type of “sky is falling” article could have been written about Marvel when all they had to show as a studio was a disappointing Hulk, a surprise hit with Iron Man and then a bunch of backstage kerfuffles in the production of Iron Man 2.
Why do we shit on DC without having seen anything yet? If you would have told me what Marvel was planning back when Iron Man came out, I bet I would have been skeptical, too. But we let it play out (and not all those first movies were big winners) and it worked out fine.
Not every character has to be someone you love and want to be best friends with. Sometimes a character who is a stark departure from the norm helps to create dramatic tension, underscore flaws in other characters and can lead to interesting debate.
I forget how she left the series ... transferred during the season break, perhaps?
No wait, I remember, she fell down an out-of-order turbo-lift shaft.
i hope we also get Gorrilla City in the next season
Sorry, hated the Olicity stuff. It was one thing when she was seriously lusting for him in an awkward dorky way but how that turned into love I have no idea. This episode was like bad fan-fiction. Only thing missing was Laurel and ghost Sara giving Felicity their blessing to bang Oliver. When she mouthed off to Ra’s I…
I’m glad someone else isn’t into the Ollie felicity stuff. It feels ridiculously forced and honestly I think I’ve reached peak felicity after her Ray’s painful to watch keeping it up joke on the flash. She was great in small doses, but she’s become such a Mary Sue lately that it’s frankly become distracting for me :-(
I still think he takes her for granted, underestimates her, condescends to her, and is kind of a dick, so I’m not sure how I feel about last night’s turn of events.
Dear Glob I hope this is the end of Olicity. All the ‘shippers get their romantic boinkfest, and now we can do away with all this nonsense.
I dunno gang, I found this episode incredibly meh. I don’t like Oliver/Felicity because it feels incredibly forced, so obviously I wasn’t a huge fan of that romance taking up most of the hour. I wanted more Ra’s and more repercussions of Thea using the Lazarus Pit. But none of that really happened unfortunately. And…
You don’t have to argue it. For many people the trailer reinforced what they already ready felt based on concept art, plot descriptions and residual feelings towards MOS.
Ok, I know this will probably be received poorly, but I really want to know: Wonder Woman is supposed to be bulletproof or nearly invulnerable, right? So...why does it matter if she’s wearing armor? People always bring this up when talking about her costume. Why isn’t she wearing armor blah blah blah. When Superman…
I could always tell it had color in it.
I’m just going to say, outside the Internet (and most internet places that aren’t io9’s comment threads) I’ve heard pretty overwhelmingly positive reactions to this trailer, which shows us a movie that looks like it just might have something original to say about these characters.

Screw “most peoples” interpretations of the characters. Not only do most people know fuck all of Frank Millers contributions, but they know fuck all about the Justice League. You’re claiming that because of their low exposure to the breadth of the characters, and their fear of new things (Superman/Batman might not be…
So, Rob, have you seen the statues of the Trinity at WB studios? Gives us quite a look at the Bats costume, sans armor.
I’m looking forward to BvS. How can you possibly know whether it will be good or not until you watch it? We’ve seen about 30 seconds of footage and that's about it.
