Sure. Anyone in the Grey at Jalopnik can be my friend.

It depends on the car. I let some of my friends drive my McLaren whenever we are out. The Demon on the other hand is a no no, only two other people have driven it with caution, it’s just too dangerous. Everyone gets to drive the Scat Pack. The experience of driving these cars is meant to be shared.

In the words of Luke Skywalker: “Amazing! Every word of what you just said was wrong.”

Another C8 pic.

What you meant to say was “What you really want is a C8.

Some options are very reasonable, but others are ridiculous. $395 seat belt color? That's the same price McLaren charges. Sueded Micro-fiber steering wheel for $595 is within a couple hundred of McLaren's true Alcantara wheel. $4850 for CF ground effects? McLaren is actually cheaper!

I totally missed the boat on buying a TA a few years back when they were only $85K used.

I can confirm from first hand experience that the Milan Dragway crew are a bunch of hicks and don’t give a rats rump about safety or your car. Most of the track crew has a jealous attitude toward all the drivers. It’s also one of the worst prepped tracks in the Midwest. Everyone has a hard time hooking there. I

Wasn’t hard at all. Once you drive one, you’ll know why it’s the ultimate muscle car and worth every penny. What car could you buy under $100k that could do 9's stock, with a warranty? The i8 on the other hand is a car that brings little value to the $150k price tag. So many other better cars for that money.

Here in metro Detroit they are practically on every single street corner and every single Test&Tune night at the strip. Heck, I even have one. My complaint has been that I see way too many of them! But I do believe 80% of them stayed in Michigan and that’s why you don’t see them elsewhere. There is not a single

Yeah, well, this is where a young Millennial or Gen Z journalist shows their age. Or it’s where Gen Xer’s and Boomer’s show their age. 0-100-0 has always been a Shelby metric to go by. This head knowledge will come from experience over time.

That’s funny.  I am sitting in front of Costco in my 570s right now while reading this.

The weight you listed must be dry. The curb weight is 3424 lbs.

Tons of typos in this article. Reference mistakes as well. Who proofreads for you guys?

Yeah, it would have made sense to sell it back to the country of origin. Money went out of the country to pay for it, it would make sense to get it back. It’s just a waste of money.

Crackpipe. This is definitely not as good as a 2020 C8 and has no business being on jalopnik.

Yes, The ones entering their 40's are Xennials, not Gen Xer’s. Born between late 70's and mid 80's.

My early 1994 gen 1 definitely without a doubt did not have adjustable pedals. My Gen2 had the manual knob as people are describing, but there was no spot for it or even a place for a knob on my 94. 100% positive my Gen 1 did not have it. I also drove a friend's 93 that did not have it either. I owned both cars at the

I can confirm that it’s much better with the adjustable pedals. I owned both a 94 and a 98 and even though the seat does go forward quite a bit on the 94, there was more adjustability because of the pedals on the 98. I could see shorter people having a much better experience with the later model. But who knows, I

I just spent July 4th flushing out the water inside a Nissan Maxima for a friend. Engine hydrolocked after going through water. Required be taking the intake apart, cranking with no spark plugs, and five oil changes to get that crap out of there. Don’t drive through water!
