Haha, of course it’s not your actual job, but the question of whether your commentary on Yang’s proposal is good commentary absolutely revolves around what you bring to the table when you critique his idea.

Unless you’re asserting that the problem itself is not actually a legitimate problem I disagree with respect to whether someone should at least nod towards an actual solution.

This would be a solid response if Ashley

If we approach any policy with the assumption that the treatment given to the mentally ill will be poorly executed, then by definition any solution you can dream up will be bad and we should basically end the conversation and leave these people to their own devices.

Sorry, i agree with Yang on this one.

I am a huge fan of period architecture and restoration. What these people have accomplished here is amazing - an excellent example of the application of money and tenacity. They bought it, they hired the right people to bring it back from the brink, they spent gobs of money, and they should be able to enjoy living

“Coastal elites”
Who is going to tell him that being from North Carolina also makes him “coastal”.

Pardon me for pointing out the obvious, but if any other grown-ass unmarried man “adopted” a strapping, young teen boy and kept him fairly secret for years (after “dating” his older sister and then dropping her when maybe she was no longer necessary. Where is she in all of this now, anyway?) and then outed himself for

It goes back to the oldest piece of literature known to man, The Saga of Gilgamesh. A prostitute is given to the wild man Enkidu to “humanize” him so he can fight Gilgamesh, who was being a dick.

I neither know nor care who this person is, but I read these articles because I am consistently fascinated that anyone else could possibly care enough to watch that video. I watched about 20 seconds of it and all I could think of was Chunk from the Goonies...

Did some quick checks using Google Earth Pro and found an obvious rusting wreck on the beach in that area circa 2004. One of the best feature in GE Pro is the historical imagery, you can just adjust the slider and see all the archive aerial stuff they have.

Georgia has a citizens arrest law on the books that apparently gives people the ability to "arrest" and detain alleged criminals. I think they call it citizens arrest because black codes was a term that had already been taken.

Seriously. If you’re looking for advice on your impeding marriage from a reality show marriage, you are clearly not ready for adulthood.

He wanted 50/50 physical and legal custody and she wants primary physical custody, joint legal custody. In the filings, there are claims about who was around more and spent more time with/raising the kids and contributing the money (which switched over time in their marriage). But I wouldn’t be surprised if the

a woman asks Cavallari to give her some advice

He filed for joint custody while she filed for sole. I guess she wants the wallet and that’s the easiest way to get it.

Oh no, I have my money on him wanting to get them vaccinated. She's antivax.

Anybody who ever watched Jay Cutler play football, saw his demeanor on the sidelines, or saw how he handled being asked the most innocuous questions by the media would assume that Jay would be about as fun and supportive a husband as being married to a washcloth.

Are they Scientologists? I know his family was and he really doesn’t like talking about it. (Probably because talking about it = getting the cult breathing down his neck.)
