Maybe you just grew out of it and the show's new creative direction wasn't doing it for you?

I think this episode deserves a B-plus. The Stan/Hayley storyline kind of fell flat near the end, but this was hysterical.
The first three seasons thing only works for SpongeBob. I honestly think the first post-cancellation season of Family Guy is arguably their greatest. I think the hiatus motivated the new writing team and they put out some of the show's best material ("North by North Quahog," "8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage…
I thought that episode was pretty good too. It was kind of nice to see Family Guy be so experimental.
I know I'll get persecuted for this, but "Secondhand Spoke" gets a B-plus in my opinion. The Chris/Stewie subplot was really nice to see, and it makes me wonder what would happen if Family Guy mined more humor from the story. The A-plot was kind of bland, but I liked the Mario Lopez cutaway, the reference to the "this…
Seeing how American Dad is capable of this kind of thing, Stan and Francine should have one big blow-up that leads to them divorcing for a couple episodes and the fallout.
I just got this idea that if it ever happens (definitely after Family Guy), American Dad could have a feature film that maybe serves as a series finale, and Stan and Francine lampshade the situation. Kind of like how The Simpsons made fun of the people going to see their movie.
Looking back, it always bothered me how much they mistreated little Butters. Stan and Kyle really have changed.
Ah, to each his own.
One thing I noticed with Family Guy is that once they locked onto the kind of show they wanted to be, they never let go. I can respect them for that. They're basically out to shock and offend, even if some efforts are unsuccessful.
Another week, another great outing from the Dad. I do notice that the Stan/Francine marital problems plot is going to get stale soon if they keep resorting to it, but at least they don't completely rehash storylines. I think the wheels fell off after the second act, and Avery wasn't as entertaining as he could be.…
I never believed the show fell apart. Around season nine, it just started getting really hit-or-miss overall.
I always thought the first five seasons were the show's golden era.
Any non-Brian and Stewie episodes from Season 4-now you've enjoyed?
What are your favorite episodes from the Guy?
Keep calling this show "the Guy," and I think you and I will be pretty good friends. :)
I wonder what you guys think is a high-quality Family Guy episode.
You guys have all taken the words out of my mouth, this episode was fantastic. I think I'll give it an A-minus.
Some of my favorite lines:
"I need you to respect my ideas."
"Thank you, Klaus!" "No, thank YOU!"
Steve saying this was the classic son trapped in holodeck by dad and dad soon finds himself trapped in said…
I don't know about this episode really. The only incest joke that was bothersome and unnecessary was when Joe touched Kevin.
I think the Cena hate has gone on long enough. It's even more stale than his character.
