A little note on Ford...unlike GM, Ford has really committed to NOT rebadging.

The Neon, for what it was and at it's price point, was a revolution in auto manufacturing. So no, that's not a salient point.

Between Mulally's incomparable leadership, the newer and cleaner design of their vehicles, and the partnership with Microsoft with SYNC, Ford has become a badass on epic levels.

You do realize that the modernized Land Rover is thanks to an incredible effort by Ford to get them to build anything...anything at all that was appealing to upper-middle class buyers.

A highly-insulated building with a tight thermal envelope doesn't allow heat to escape easily, which, indeed, may make it unappealing if you have a very-well designed and constructed green home. However, a 100+ year old building is unlikely to be as tightly sealed as that.

We use a lawn vacuum on the property where I'm the on-site manager. It's wasteful and stupid to just blow things about, and typically, the extra leaves and mulch will kill your lawn.
