Unfortunately, the cars ARE that good, and, as you probably noticed, a lot of people think so as well, which keeps feeding this "media machine" you detest. Funny enough, I heard about this through a groupon (one of those on-line coupon clubs) who was selling Sunday tickets+pit passes for $20! I was soooo psyched to be at the pits for the very first time.
