I once was involved in a very low speed collision (admittedly my fault, been putting off replacing my rotors). After the hit, which did not deploy the airbag, I turned to my passenger to see if he was ok, right at that moment, BAM! airbag deploys and gives me a black eye for the next few weeks. Pretty much anybody going down the "mineshaft" at Rally Canberra

Very nice. Growing up, I thought people were nuts driving around in flip-flops, but this guy takes it to another level.

I guess I didn't have the stomach to keep watching 'til the end

Am I the only one freaking out that those wheels look like they aren't turning?

I'm not too sure about the "she'll start to want one too" part, but yes, she is letting me get a BRZ so I could shut up about it.

Unless you've placed a deposit down, where most dealers promise MSRP if you did, you maybe fresh out of luck. With all this insane hype on this car, they will be marking this baby up like crazy for those who are just planning on walking in and buying off the lot.

Don't forget subtle suspension tweaks. The BRZ has stiffer rear suspension, I believe, which make it have the characteristic Subaru understeer for the mature drivers, while the Scion is tuned to be a little more tail happy for all the drifting kids.

I was holding out for the next-gen STI, but at this price, I might actually consider it.

Gas tank location...

Just noticed, no cup holders for your 7-eleven big gulp purple slushie either (2nd from right)

I had the same plan, but with a future family in mind, my plan is now the opposite, getting the BRZ and having my jolies now, then settling down to an Impreza wagon (maybe a 5-door WRX STI, but that might be pushing it)

Fortunately/unfortunately, a lot of the dealers taking pre-orders, including the one I'm working with, promise MSRP pricing, even though not knowing the price is still a little iffy...

Dang, beat me to it. Might have been a great idea, but just too "Leno-y" in the execution.

Wow, that chuck full of DTM action in a fraction of the price!

The other two ways to spend $34,900

Track..hamster?

Benedict Radcliffe's work is pretty mind boggling as well.
