Sorry, I meant some people write off Beach House and The National as monotonous and I get why but they’re really not. Or is that what you meant was blasphemous?

Much agreed. De La had all their albums up for free download on their website at one point. Not sure if still available. I just know i forgot to take advantage. “Buhloone Mindstate” is also a must.

It is a good album for that. I listen to them at work often. This one in particular is also really relaxing... to me anyway. They have a few others and some tracks are more upbeat.

Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars were both disappointing to me, which I didn’t admit lightly to myself because Beach House is up there with my very favorite bands (both albums had standouts and I appreciated Thank... a little more than Depression Cherry so I was grateful for the surprise release, but on

That was the first tape of my own music I was allowed to buy and I listed to it incessantly. And the liner notes were dope too.

Weak sneak peek. Not unique, nor on fleek. Of it we mustn’t speak.

I think this is an oft-ignored dynamic. I feel like I branch out a ton on the musical front because I am able to go deeper into albums, as well as try a lot of new music because of how much time I have to listen to music during my work day.

I’m in the same situation - working alone in a warehouse, music blaring all day and constantly downloading/trying new things just for the hell of it. There’s several-lifetimes full of music out there, there’s always something for everyone, these days you just have to actively seek it out as the radio is far more

Me too. I dislike most popular music from the 90s and most of the stuff I do like I wasn’t aware existed at the time. Personally, I think we are living in the best era for music since the 1970s. There’s so much out there right now that’s good, it just takes more work to find it.

Huh. I guess this study has little to no over lap at all with how I view music or what I consider to be formative. Certainly, I still find favorite music in my 30s, while I generally don’t listen to much that I listened to while I was 14. And the favorite music I’m finding has little to do with the so called

It took me a manute to draw the connection...

So what he’s saying is, Anderson drank his milkshake.

Says Uwe!

This is Bollshit.

Given what we now know about the impact of binging, should the answer be “I don’t remember”.

Nothing - Tired of Tomorrow, The Walkmen Bows + Arrows, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Polygondwanaland, Kyle Craft - Full Circle Nightmares and last night I saw Black Rebel Motorcycle Club wsg Night Beats. Night Beats were awesome and BRMC put on an excellent show as well.

I dunno, I thought his rambling reaction was quite human.

Where is Spotify playlist? Need sounds now. No time to look up each!!
