Try their earlier stuff too. Woman’s Gotta Have It is almost as crazy a soup as When I was Born..., with a bit less of a focus on Beck-ian hip hop beats. And before that, on Hold On It Hurts, they were trying some amazing punk-influenced rockin’ tossed in with their Eastern influences.

Always loved wog from the first album as well. Also, I thought “It’s Good to be on the road back home again” was pretty special too.

Last Splash is great, but I always preferred Pod.

“Buttermilk BIscuits” by Sir-Mix-a-Lot! I had a tape of SWASS before “Baby Got Back” was a thing.

Men at Work had a handful of hits in the States. “Down Under,” also “Who Can it Be Now?” “Be Good, Johnny,” and others.

I once told an office of British expats that both Pulp and Blur were one hit wonders in North America. You’d think I told them the Earth was flat going by their reactions.

I’m not sure about the rest of the world but in the UK, Men At Work are famous for Down Under and nothing else. However, Overkill is their best song by a mile, and should have been their biggest hit.

And stand up comedy.

For movie selection, sure. But Netflix dominates with television, documentaries, and just about everything else.

It is not a picture of the actual wines stolen. Full disclosure: It is also not a picture of the alleged thief.

I enjoyed this episode a lot, but yeah...it often felt like there was another me, sitting in the corner of the room, pointing out that it wasn’t very good.

Forget it Xanderpuss, it’s Kinjatown.

Awww, shit. I really liked The Cranberries growing up, and had a bit of a crush on her. One of the defining 90's bands. 46 is so young... RIP

“It was not a surprise. We all knew this was coming. The end is inescapable, even for a simple pug like me. After a long life filled with fame and fortune, it’s the only thing I crave now. That and sniffing butts.” ~ Bert (Werner Herzog)

I’m going to miss this, if only because I don’t think we’ll see much like it again for a while. A surrealist live action comedy with a middle-aged female lead? Does anything else like that even exist anymore?

I still don’t understand what Mark did wrong here. Unless he campaigned for Michelle to NOT get the raise. Should he have made sure to negotiate for both of them?

At first, I thought you said, “Brad Whitford,” the guy from Aerosmith.

I saw them open for Nirvana. I’m cool.
