Don’t think they’re doing much hiring these days

This seems accurate.

Wakin’ on a Pretty Daze was such a slow burn for me, that I’m reluctant to give an opinion on the new album. “Bassakwards” is really great though. Not sure how most people feel about them, but I tend to like his very long songs.

Just me or does that photo of Daniel Avery totally look like a young Scott Thompson?
Also, BADBADNOTGOOD released a collab track with Little Dragon a couple weeks ago and it’s nice.

Agreed. I went to a taping, many many years ago, of the Late Show, and went to see Conan’s Roadshow. Both times I was impressed by how great they sounded. Hearing them on TV doesn’t do them justice.

My issue with Tidal has always been their focus on exclusive content. Apple may be worse than them at this point, but they’ve still managed to annoy me recently with the LCD Soundsystem and Breeders video exclusives.

I don’t believe this is true. Unless something has changed recently

I just looked that up on YouTube. Seems like a good way to lose your mind.

Good call on Edvard Grieg. That tune is catchy as hell. My kids had learned about Peer Gynt at school, and from Little Einsteins (I think), and became infatuated with it. Hopefully it won’t be supplanted by the hip-hoppified version of it from Trolls.

I have the first 4 or 5 albums on CD, but managed to grab all of them when they were giving them away as MP3s a couple years ago. It bums me out that others aren’t able to enjoy this music on the streaming services.

I thought the same thing when I got to the bottom of the list. Maybe it’s just where I was at that point in time, but it felt very zeitgeisty in the U.S., too.

I can’t come up with anything too interesting as I was listening almost exclusively to Top 40 music in 1981.

The point is probably moot.

Something something bees. IDK

Hum’s Downward is Heavenward came out in 1998 and is a masterpiece.

Pork chops and applesauce, shweetheart.

We know they won’t win

Hey now!
