Fine Young Cannibals?
I am glad to finally have my love of King Gizzard validated by someone who writes professionally for this website. Perhaps I can sleep now.
I was on vacation with the fam this past week and was subjected to the Trolls soundtrack for most of it. Looking forward to some alone time to listen to my music.
Her music is not at all the kind of thing I typically listen to, but Me is fantastic. The new track gives me hope for the next album.
Or is he saying “CRUMPET!”? It's probably that.
I don't care about this. I just want to know why Michael Hutchence yells “TRUMPET!” right before the sax solo in New Sensation.
Murder of the Universe is certainly polarizing, but I love it. It hasn't surpassed Nonagon Infinity for me yet, but definitely better than Flying Microtonal Banana IMO.
Seriously. I know I'm an old fart, but when will this autotune/vocoder stuff stop!?!
There’s no one to tell us what to listen to, now *cries*
Thundercat - Drunk (by far my favorite, so far)
Kevin Morby - City Music
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard - Murder of the Universe (for the last third especially)
Slowdive - Slowdive
Spotify has been all over me to listen to Hoops. Maybe I should give them a serious spin.
You mean to tell me there's MORE of this?
I think I just saw the whole film
I was speaking mainly from the experience of doing the cold brewing myself. I get a lot of enjoyment from trying the different coffees, and the flavor gamut just seems a lot smaller with cold brew.
Is the normalization really a good thing, though? I find it makes different coffee varieties taste almost the same. What fun is that?
Nothing stopping you from using a filter.
This seems to be a great year for weird TV. I haven't started Twin Peaks yet, but Legion and The Young Pope were two great super-weird shows.
It's basically the musical equivalent of a “sportsball” comment.
It was a very good year.
