I remember chuckling as “Yay, Grieg!” was uttered by the children in the episode of Little Einsteins my kids were watching. Now I am constantly getting requests for Edvard Grieg when we're in the car. Who knew?

Upvote for Django Django. I've played their first album for my kids but it didn't take, there's still time, though.

Hard to think of a band that's fallen off my radar as much as Flaming Lips. I loved The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi, but what the hell happened after that?

The new ATCQ album isn't exactly apolitical. I actually found it kind of refreshing in that respect.

I just happened to stumble onto the multi-track recording episode of Soundbreaking and was really blown away. Going to have to go back and watch the rest of them. Great Stuff!

I don't recall having this much fun listening to an album for quite a while. If any of the five they plan on releasing this year come anywhere close to Nonagon Infinity I will be pretty ecstatic.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard is getting no love this year. Sad!

I finally saw They Live after 28 incredibly wrong, awful years.

Agreed. I liked the show from the start, but did worried the characters would all remain sort of one dimensional. Glad that wasn't the case.

99% Invisible has a great episode on this subject, here.
You should all be listening to 99% Invisible. It’s great.

Don't call it that.

Yeah. I have a feeling the only reason this album was only given a B+ is that The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders exist.

“Dis Generation” is the stand-out to me. Although, there's an awful lot of great stuff here. I think I'll be dissecting this album for a while.

Funny you should bring up IT Crowd. My immediate aversion to the trailer for The Great Indoors was that it gave me flashbacks to the dreadful American IT Crowd pilot, starring Joel McHale.

Ah! I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be someone else’s money. That would have been out of character, for sure, but I felt like maybe I had missed something.

I think I missed something (I am easily distracted). Where did the money come from that he used to get them to play the song on the radio? Or was that Episode 2?

For me it's Batman fighting the shark.

Can he get sued for “Word Crimes”? I dunno

I don't think lawyers are bad. I do think this ruling favors established (rich) artists. Some indie band wouldn't be able to defend themselves against something like this.
