I sometimes think Rose McGowan should take a deep breath before she tweets. I also believe Meryl is probably very much in a bubble when it comes to her day-to-day life.

Goldie Hawn has been getting papped a lot lately and I’m starting to wonder if she’s the one making the calls.
I don’t really have an expectation of an afterlife either, but if there is one, I would hope that arriving in heaven would be just like the gif of that little girl being hugged by Michelle Obama that was posted above by DarkTowerMichelle.

“Well, she won’t touch you, sir. I mean, nobody will. Every kid we bring in here starts crying immediately and that eagle almost scalped you.”
Can you imagine being able to snuggle up to Obama in that pic? Closing your eyes, inhaling the leather scent, and pretending for that one second that it’s okay, all this never happened...

I follow his now ‘retired’ official photographer on instagram (and you should too @petesouza) and it’s pretty much a regular sanity nostalgia tour. Souza’s descriptions of the scenes and taking the photos help too, but the photos themselves just are simultaneously comforting, and like a knife in the gut.
The eternal president tenderly holds a child, spreading warmth and peace the world over. Simultaneously in the White House, Trump briefly chokes while shoving fourteen cold French fries in his gullet. Horking a couple out on the rug, he then wipes most of the spittle off with the back of his tiny hand.
I am always curious about the accuracy of these reconstructions. Have they ever tested this on, say, the recently dead or whatever? Like reconstruct them blindly and then compare that to photos?
Or get this, weaving in the .....sheets.

“...Hayek, as a then-struggling Mexican actress” Right. Hayek has never struggled. She came from a wealthy family and by the time she made Frida, already had double digit films under her belt. Saying she was a “struggling actress” lumps her into the group of all the other women who have zero power in this situation.…
Cher is probably the only thing that could get me to watch that movie.
