I couldn’t get past the ship combat. As much as I love the pirate theme, and just sailing around the beautiful ocean, I couldn’t get behind the ship combat. Not to mention AC’s terrible on foot gameplay that they still haven't shown signs of fixing.

I have played every cod since MW2 came out (played MW but skipped W@W), and really, the series plateaued at Black Ops 1 for me.
