I love the effort here, and support violent video games, but many of those responses were just geared towards games in general, not just violent ones. Although I don't blame them for that, I can't really come up with any good reasons either.

I definitely will. We've pretty much been playing MP1,2,3 at my game nights, along with Brawl so I'll definitely give MP9 a rent and we'll see how it goes!

I guess I shouldn't really comment on MP9 since literally all I'm basing my opinions off of are from both gameplay trailers, and YouTube videos of guys playing it. I guess for me, MP is all about the mini-games. And seeing MP9 go turn after turn without any, it just felt out of place.

I guess it's more of a personal thing for me. I haven't owned a Nintendo home console since the N64 so my last "real" MP was 3. I played Advance (worst thing ever) and DS (pretty good) and when I saw MP9 it was too much change for me. I understand how people like it if they've played all of the MP's tho...

I completely agree. Even though I preferred the previous site design on mobile to this one, due to being able to see all discussions without having to cycle through, I have to like this one cuz I can finally comment on mobile.

To be fair these aren't two separate games. At the very least it was 2 different games in the same universe. Its not two separate games mashed together.

Did anyone see Geoff Keighley's tweets? He tweeted a bunch of Vines of the trailer, got blurry at the end, but I think I might've seen a PS3 logo on it. Doubtful though.

Yeah that's pretty much what I thought. Couldn't imagine a game looking that good running smoothly without some crazy high end specs. Again, I know nothing of PC's haha

Always wanted to play the original but never had a Gamecube. Now I don't even really want to if only for this extremely minor, yet to me, important complaint. This "rolling pin" style world. I just think it looks so dumb. I know the original didn't have it, so why do all the rest of them have it?
