Not soon enough.
You know you fucked up when Philadelphia has the moral high ground
“They all think you’re crazy. Crazy like a fox. Them lineman are gonna be so worked up about Hardy that it’ll free up someone else on the inside, or at least they’ll get a penalty or two. Best move you ever made. Just keep on keepin’ on. You’ll show ‘em.”
Without knowing the details of the incident, I am inclined to agree with you on account of one fact alone: It’s the Midwest we’re talking about here.
Having attended a school in the South I have seen first-hand the effect of the Good Old Boys network running local governments, schools, and colleges. As much as people…
As someone who goes to the University of Missouri, the atmosphere of the school has deteriorated immensely. Chancellor Loftin and President Wolfe have been extremely slow to react to major issues that have occurred and it’s why we’re at the point we’re at.
In light of the topic of this article, here are some resources for anyone who needs help:
This is as important a story as Deadspin has ever done. My contempt for Hardy, Jones and Goodell is matched only by my admiration for Diana’s epic reporting.

Brandon Marshall has an admitted mental illness that he has not shied away from and admits that it has caused some problems in his personal and professional life. Some may discredit him as being mentally unstable because of…
Wait, are you a player or a fan? Because you said fan and then told us what was going on in that lockerroom and that hardly seems fucking possible.
But the locker room drama the last few seasons were all Marshall.
Strongly disagree that this rings hollow. It’s obviously not the same thing, but there’s a striking parallel between this and the fact that the former players that the NHL hires for the Department of Player Safety tend to be guys who had well-earned reputations for playing on (and often over) the edge and would have…
“On the other side” means that he is aware of/in treatment for his mental issues, not that he’s cured and incapable of incidents. I think a person who has formally recognized and is in the process of addressing his mental disorder is the perfect person to comment on it.
(P.S. you can’t cure mental disorders)
