I absolutely love Chew. After reading superhero comics for most of the time I've been alive, I find myself in a place where the only books I loyally follow are non-superhero indies: Chew, Saga, Sex Criminals, and Hip Hop Family Tree. They're all so creative and vibrant and funny and cool in their own ways.

I always loved that library set, but I wished they would clean it up.

I like my coffee like I like my women: COVERED IN BEES!

That always bugged me too.

She's adorable, especially with Tig.

Replying to my own post, but "Here. Take these bananas." is one of my favorite parts of any comedy ever. Damon Wayans makes me laugh more with that one line than anything else in the movie, and I love that movie.

(Looks around nervously, making sure the coast is clear)
"Here. Take these bananas."

Cacao!

I'd love to see Peggy Carter plucked out of the timestream to join the battle against Thanos. Blue dress, red hat, and all, teamed up with the Avengers, Guardians, and Defenders, maybe even coordinating attacks from the Helicarrier or something.

This is huge to me. The moral model of disability theory paints too many characters with disabilities as either weak and sexless, angry and bitter, or perfect, saintly "inspirations" to make able-bodied characters feel better about themselves. It's rare to find any media that shows a character with disabilities as

Zack will also like the follow-up where Max shoots that funny, chubby guy in the head.

I could see She-Hulk as one of the Netflix series, maybe tying her legal career in with Daredevil. But it's such a no-brainer ("single green female" balancing a legal career with fun-loving superheroics, romance, etc.) that it could actually play well on a major network.

Too bad Warner couldn't get him to play Maxwell Lord in the DC films… but that would involve making a Justice League International movie, which would actually be fun, so it probably won't ever happen.

So far, I've only seen him in Lost River and the first episode of Bloodline, and you're right. He killed it in Lost River. Just an incredible performance in line with some of the great David Lynch villains, like Dennis Hopper and Willem Dafoe.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bill Murray, Nic Cage, Jake Gyllenhaal, John C. Reilly, Michael Emerson, Sam Rockwell, Edward Norton, Robert Downey Jr., Paul Rudd, Adam Scott, Donald Glover, Bill Hader, Enver Gjokaj, Timothy Olyphant, and most recently, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Daveed Diggs.

I'm not a big Tom Hanks fan either. He seems like a mensch, but I usually don't enjoy him in his typical everyman roles in feel-good middlebrow dramas. My favorite Tom Hanks movie was The Road to Perdition, where he played a hitman in the 1930s.

Same.

DAMN. I loved The Alienist and its sequel, The Angel of Darkness, back in high school. I always thought they would be amazing movies, so finding out it would be made into a miniseries in this era of "peak TV," directed by Fukunaga, I was so psyched. I hope it still happens, though.

I hate to break the bad news, but Katie Cassidy will be a recurring cast member on ALL the DC shows this season, probably as Black Siren, her evil Earth-2 doppelganger. I think she got the same kind of contract John Barrowman, Wentworth Miller, Neal McDonough, and Matt Letscher got, for that Legion of Doom thing

Damn. I don't live in LA so I never got to attend live, but I love their Comedy Central show, especially for the more experimental bits (that don't always work) and the backstage camaraderie. Kumail and Emily Gordon are the most adorable couple, and even though Jonah isn't my favorite, Kumail brings out the best
