Maybe their version of The Avengers/Justice League can be Yogi's Funtastic Treasure Hunt, and their Suicide Squad can be Dastardly and Muttly in "Stop That Pigeon."

Silver dollar flappies!
I usually love dark shows and movies and books and comics. I love noir. I'm okay with unhappy endings, especially if they come as big twists. But GoT just lays on the misery a little too thick for me. (FWIW, I didn't hate True Detective Season 2 like almost everyone else, but I gave up on Walking Dead after Season…
See what? I missed something, I'm sorry.
I get it, I do. And I read the first book, but I don't read fantasy in general, so I don't plan to read the others.
I think I'm finally giving up on Game of Thrones. There are very few reasonable people left, and I'm exhausted from watching them suffer and die. I would usually only subscribe to HBO for GoT and True Detective and then cancel, but now I'm not even gonna bother.
Is it just me, or does King George's song (the music and delivery, not necessarily the lyrics) remind anyone else of the Decemberists? I can totally hear Colin Meloy singing it.
I've seen the movie countless times, but never saw it live until catching a local production a few years ago. I would have killed to attend the recent staging with Jake Gyllenhaal as Seymour, Taran Killam as Orin, and Ellen Greene back as Audrey.
I love it when Angelica repeats her "I've been reading 'Common Sense' by Thomas Paine" verse, while the other sisters are singing their part and the ensemble is singing the "Work, work" part.
They are.
I started listening to the Hamilton cast recording a week ago, and I am obsessed with it. I love hip hop, musicals, and American history, so it appeals to me so much. I've listened to nothing else, and I'm starting to memorize all the songs.
Or even Aidy Bryant, since God knows a DC movie will need some comic relief, too.
It was good!
Wesley and Giles were my favorite characters in the Buffyverse. I was always disappointed Alexis Denisof and Anthony Stewart Head haven't had larger careers post-Angel and Buffy.
And Patton Oswalt as a writer, early on.
I empathize. I've sold almost all my '80s toys: Star Wars, G.I. Joes, Transformers, Kenner DC Super Powers, Mattel Marvel Secret Wars — but I needed money for school and rent at the time.
I enjoy her show (I actually prefer it to the uneven Inside Amy Schumer, which goes for more low blows and cheap shots than I would like), but Nikki IS better than this. She does talk about sex a lot, but there's more to her comedy than that.
I couldn't be happier to get more Nikki Glaser, and I'm happy for her too. She is AWESOME. My wife and I saw her perform a stand-up set last year, and she killed. Afterwards, we passed her in the bar area on our way out of the club, and she flashed us a thousand-watt smile and said she remembered us from the front…
I had the complete run: #1-155, Special Missions #1-28, Yearbook #1-4, Order of Battle #1-4, Vs. Transformers #1-4. And I sold them all on eBay when I was in college and needed money. Same with my complete Marvel Transformers run. It helped me out at the time, but they went for a relative pittance, compared to what…
Duke, but yeah.
