Well, except for Lenny Von Dohlen.

She was a perfect Muncie girl!

We still need Alicia Witt, who actually appeared in the original series as Dr. Hayward's youngest daughter Gersten, who was a hell of a piano player. Maybe she could be the new town doctor or medical examiner.

It would be awesome if the original TV pilot is one of the extras.

I always wished he could get cast as Jack Knight (the central character) back when there was talk about doing a TV adaptation of DC's brilliant Starman comic. Back when Mulholland Drive came out, he would have been absolutely perfect.

Too bad they already wasted Jason Rusch in a Season 1 episode, played by an unknown, one-off actor, so they have to introduce a whole new character to play the other half of Firestorm.

I agree with both of you, and I hate that Cold killed some guards and tried to kill everyone on board that train in his first appearance. In the comics, he's very much a "working man" supervillain who has no interest in killing or even hurting innocent people, as long as he can pull off his jobs and screw with the

I still wish Alan Tudyk had been cast as Hawkeye, and that he was written as Matt Fraction's well-intentioned screwup "Hawkguy." But unfortunately, movie Tony Stark's brash, abrasive, roguish asshole personality is very similar to comic Hawkeye's, so they went for the bland, boring Ultimate Hawkeye portrayal instead.

Al Leong, one of the great "that guy" actors of the '80s and early '90s.

The Losers is the source for the film, but the comic is much better and goes on far longer. (The movie had an excellent cast, though.)

Starman
Planetary
Preacher (if you're up for some shock value violence, gore, and dark humor)
The Losers
Anything by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips: Sleeper (my favorite) and its prequel Point Blank, Criminal, Incognito, Fatale, The Fade Out
Hawkeye
Sex Criminals

Me too. Offerman's character was a Walter Sobchek analogue, and the quiet, dumb guy was a Donny analogue.

You bet, and she's a real tomatah!

My favorite Coen Brothers movie!

It was more than he could handle.

I see what you did there at the end!

Mystery Team. Watch it. It takes the "washed-up former boy detectives" thing to ridiculous new levels, and it has Donald Glover and Aubrey Plaza.

Poor Gretchen Mol. She was always solid in forgettable-but-good movies like Rounders, The 13th Floor (worth watching if you liked Matrix/Dark City/eXistenZ), and of course The Notorious Bettie Page.

Don't forget Alicia Witt, who I'm hoping will be in the new season of Twin Peaks, since she appeared in the original series.

She's up there on my celebrity crush list with Scarlett Johansson, Lizzy Caplan, Kat Dennings, Christina Hendricks, Kether Donohue, Jenny Lewis, Rashida Jones, Alyson Hannigan, Aisha Tyler, and Amy Acker.
