I actually enjoyed Gangster Squad. Was it GOOD? Not really, but I'm a sucker for that '40s/'50s neo-noir setting and aesthetic.

Andre Royo.
Dammit, what happened to the Fincher/Ellroy project? That's the one I was really psyched for. I can't get enough '30s/'40s/'50s pulp/crime/noir stuff.
I attended the Warped Tours in '97 and '98 as a college student (and ska band sax player). I forgot who played on which years, but we got to see some incredible bands: the Descendents, Rancid, Less Than Jake, the Specials, Royal Crown Revue, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, Hepcat, the Bosstones,…
Star of "A Blaffair to Rememblack."
I was saying the same thing all last year. Strange is one of Marvel's least-known characters who is actually headlining a movie, so it would have been a great opportunity to cast an actor of color: Ejiofor or Pedro Pascal, ideally.
I often think about how awesome Dollhouse would have been with Tatiany Maslany cast as the lead (and don't get me wrong, I loved the show after the first five procedural episodes), and then I think about how cool Orphan Black would be this season with Enver Gjokaj cast in the Ari Mullen role (although I agree that all…
I'd like to see one about The State.
I joined and canceled BMG several times in high school and college. Their deal was better than Columbia House: 12 CDs for the price of 1. The shipping was high, but you ended up with 12 CDs for the price of what four would have cost at a place like Best Buy. I kept what I liked and built a great collection, and…
If they have to go with a Caucasian guy for Iron Fist, Dan Stevens would be the most obvious choice after seeing The Guest, but I've curious about what Ben Foster could do with some martial arts training.
When he said that, I was worried Hannibal had served mashed potatoes.
Or from Hank and Keith's ex-wife both being alcoholics and trying their hand at recovery. Hank might have even been around to see Veronica growing up, and he could have worked with her post-Terriers (but pre-VM: The Movie), when Britt went to jail.
Terriers was so great. I love to think of it existing in the same continuity with Veronica Mars, in which Ocean Beach and Neptune are a short, scenic drive from each other, and Keith Mars and Hank Dolworth are old private eye pals.
1. Daredevil
2. The Americans
3. Better Call Saul (although I never got to see episodes 2-4)
4. The Flash
5. iZombie
6. Parks & Recreation
7. Broad City
8. Agents of SHIELD (it got REALLY good)
9. Agent Carter
10. Justified
11. Game of Thrones
I also think she's cool because she is in recovery, and often brings it up in her routine. I appreciate anyone who can be candid and have a sense of humor about their past alcoholism and their recovery, like her and John Mulaney.
That seems to be what Amazon is saying, but who knows how much further both editions could get pushed back.
I prepped the comics by carefully ripping out the double-sided ad pages and back covers, then printed custom table of contents pages, and sent them off to a bindery in Texas that specialized in binding comics. They let you choose the cover and lettering colors, spine and cover fonts, and everything.
SERIOUSLY?! I've had it in my Amazon wish list for over a year, and it's still saying August.
Constantine was flawed, but it showed signs of improving, and I'll still argue that Matt Ryan was one of the best-cast actors in the history of comic book adaptations. I'd rank him up with the all-time greatest: Downey, Reeve, Stewart, McKellan, J.K. Simmons.
I think I read the first Dark Reign TPB, but I'm just never going to like the Fantastic Four. There are some concepts that will just never work for me: them, Aquaman/Namor, the Legion, the Titans.
