Yeah! When we’d go backpacking/camping around Malakoff Diggins there was a particular hairpin turn we all had to pile in the back over the rear axle just to get up and around that corner....

They don’t just frown, it’s illegal to charge a markup on airport food at PDX. I fly between PDX/JFK every other week, but I fly Delta. My biggest complaint about lounges is that I am a Delta card-holder, and have Gold Frequent Flyer status, and I STILL have to pay to access the Delta lounge. Not that I do, I prefer

I’ve only been through the Portland airport once, but got a damn good spicy tuna sushiritto for $10. So, can confirm.

I was just there this morning, dropping off my eldest for a solo trip to Colorado.

Moved to the Portland area from the midwest last year, and I can’t deny the Rogue Brewpub at PDX airport was a factor. Their beers were no more expensive than at a downtown bar, and the food tasted too good to have come out of a microwave.

There’s also the carpet:

Oregon passed a law that any business at the airport, that also has a non-airport location, must charge the same price at both locations. It’s kind of brilliant. Except for those Hudson News fuckers - I’ve never seen one outside an airport terminal, so I guess they got off on a technicality?

OMG, the Podtland airport restaurants and bars are incredible! When I visited a few years ago I ate a late breakfast at The Country Cat and it was really good. Best airport food ever. Almost best restaurant food ever. I ate at that bar and the bartender was attentive and made an awesome alcoholic iced coffee drink

PDX is great, but the weirdest experience I had was at Boryspil, Ukraine, where my boyfriend and I sat down at a pizza place in the terminal and asked, “How big are the pizzas, exactly?”

I’m from Oregon, now live in LA, and I love flying out of Portland. Well, love it compared to any other airport I’ve ever been in. You can get twenty-five dollar quality meals that are actually twenty-five dollars! Also it’s very easy to navigate and there’s no need to leave a terminal to switch airlines.

The only

You can’t compare any other airport to PDX; there’s a reason its rated at the top of the list year after year. Unfortunately, I’ve never been to an airport in the NE that had its shit together; the worst being Newark. Newark can be summarized in one design element: Concrete.

I figured 15.2 was respectable with an almost stock 3.8 turning AT tires and smoking them through 1st. ;)

I was able to crack off a 15.2 in the quarter with mine........

355-365 hp, we have the regular which is 284 hp.

I absolutely drag raced the ‘98 lol The fast and the furious era made try-hards in Cavaliers ripe for the picking.

Na, 3.8L swapped daily driver/off-road toy:

Ex Five Hundred and MKT owner here. The MKT is a fantastic. Luxurious, every toy known to man, including the quiet lane keeping, intelligent cruise systems. Built in fridge in the second row business class seating, and a third row that won’t kill your adult passengers. Take a Flex, make it quieter, bury it in leather,

Other good possibility - Buy a $1200 car, and make that budgeted payment to yourself for 12 months or so. Take the car plus the money you’ve saved up and pay cash for something better. Continue making the payment to yourself, repeat until you’ve paid cash for a new car. If the goal is building credit, though, another
