Couple of nits:

I’ve seen it done in the 97-01 body style, and I’ve seen an 04 with the TRD supercharger from a tC... Both of which also had the correct number of pedals ;-)

300HP + AWD + MANUAL TRANS COME ON TOYOTA

I saw that too, it was like reading about a Democrat talking about “Assault rifles”

That’s about how I used to do it back in the day, except instead of a Toyota it was a 1984 Subaru GL 4x4 wagon, and my cooler is a different color :-P

I’m hoping that Ma Mopar is just skeptical on the take rate of the diesel Wrangler, which is why they’re limiting the options with it, and if people start snatching these up faster than they can build them, that within the next few model years it’ll be available on the 2 door and/or with the proper number of pedals.

I was helping some people at work move a 48U server rack, as we got to the door I yelled PIVOT... The two twentysomethings just looked like dafuq you talking about, the other guy my age chuckled and said “Okay, Ross”

In 1979 or so my parents bought a 1978 E150 from a VW dealership in Los Angeles. (Someone bought it in Florida, packed all their stuff in it, moved to LA, and then traded it in on a VW). When my dad asked what size engine it had in it, the salesman just went “Uhhh,, medium sized?” (They later figured out it was a 351)

The old ones were hard to kill, seems like once they got into the DumberChrysler era things started to go downhill...

I think Chrysler has mastered the unlimited-slip transmission though

Oh, gotcha, so millenials are like, the generation that graduated high school about the turn of the millenium or after, not people that were BORN then ROFL... I think people must get millenial and gen z confused

I remember hearing of a bus of college kids that was chartered to take them to Mardi Gras, or Palm Beach or something.. Anyway, somewhere along the way, a food stop gave everyone food poisoning, and there were only two toilets on the bus. By the time it subsided, they had pretty much filled the holding tank. And then

For some reason I thought millennials were like, the generation born around the late 90s-early 2000s, the ones that people talk about being “Snowflakes” and needing “safe spaces” and who got “participation trophies” and think showing up to work on time and doing exactly what’s asked of you and nothing more = raise

I’m 37 and I’m this weird crux of Gen X and Gen Y, because by birth year I’m Gen Y but I’m techically Gen X because Gen X = children of boomers; but my folks were married 9 years when I came along.

They also grew up with South Park and Family guy, which is why I do not understand how they get offended over the dumbest shit.

Went to high school with a guy who had some big giant boat of a car (I think it was an LTD but it might have been an Impala) that had an 8 track player in it. His dad wouldn’t let him put an aftermarket deck in the car, since it required hacking up the dash... So he had one of those 8-track-to-cassette adaptors, with

I seem to remember there being a car in the 30s or something that was rear engine, front wheel drive.

Went to time trials at Sears Point Raceway in ~2001 or so, spent more time flirting with some girls from Redding on my walkie-talkie than I did actually watching the race though :-P

I like the “NO COMPUTER CRAP TO BREAK”... All USDM Camrys are EFI, so there is, in fact, a computer... And “NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS TO COME ON” Again, there is one, although I think on these it might not actually say “check engine” but not sure (My Subaru of this vintage the Check Engine light said “ECS” (for “Emission

I like the line from Ben Bailey’s Road Rage thing, something about the guy behind him in traffic seeming to thing that alllllll they way at the front of the traffic jam, there was a man in a large vehicle who had nodded off at the wheel, and if he could only honk long and loud enough, he’d wake up and everyone would
