I forget the new ones are better than the ones we got in the 80s... Although not like American cars were any better in the 80s...

idk, I think having Renaults here again would do wonders to keep our auto mechanics busy
Friend of mine always says “Get your children into working on cars, then they will always have projects and won’t ever have money for drugs” or something like that.
The best Lincoln Mark whatever is the earlier version of this one that could be had with a BMW turbo diesel I6, rumor has it that a handful (of the slightly more than handful made) were made with three pedals and a 5 speed manual!
I’ve had 23 Subarus. Don’t wear flat billed hats and don’t vape.
Adjusted for inflation the SVX was about that price :-P
Come to the PNW and find one with a dead slushbox for $500 and swap everything over.
The dealership I used to work at, had one of the special edition STIs marked up like $25k, and they even put it on as a “local market adjustment” or some BS.
Be nice if more of us men would realize that you don’t have to have a penis in order to know anything about cars. I would absolutely call either the dealership manager and/or the manufacturer and give them your story.
The car in the cover photo, Subaru XT, except I’d get the XT6... Manual, AWD, flat six... No turbo crap to deal with, and it’s 5x100 so wheels aren’t a bitch to get.
They just opened a casino near me that nobody can correctly pronounce (They say it “ay-la-nay” but spell it “ilani”, my theory is it was originally “ilani” and Disney threw a fit due to their Olani resort in Hawaii so they made up a bullshit pronunciation) and I think they’re giving one away too. And an Escalade.
My current commute is the longest I’ve had, 55 miles each way. But since you can barely touch a studio apartment for $1100/mo in most parts of Portland, and I pay that much for my mortgage on a 4 bedroom house on half an acre, I will deal with the commute!
Longest time-wise was when I still lived in Vancouver, WA...…
CP, if you’re going to swap an FJ... Either use the DOHC I6 out of a newer Land Cruiser, or do a 1UZ swap. Save the SBC swaps for Jeeps.
LOL or the driver’s girlfriend...
I’ve seen three sheep in a Nissan 720 (Two in the bed and one in the cab)
In I think GT3, the Prius would show fuel consumption, and there were a few challenges where you had to complete the course under a certain time but also under a certain fuel consumption. I worked at Toyota when the 3rd gen Prius came out and we got a special edition of I think it was GT3 that had the Prius plus a few…
Seems to me with 3/4 ton and up people care more about payload and towing capacity than they do fuel economy (to a point) where 1/2 tons seems to be family haulers where fuel economy is a greater concern... Although I think it’s only a matter of time until we start seeing the 1/2 ton diesels with the brodozer coal…
I remember being excited when I found the Subaru 360 was in there. Even with all the mods maxed out, I think it was the slowest car in the game. But they jumped from that to a 90s Legacy, and skipped all the 80s models :-P
Yeah, where the normal version would only do one lap, this one would do three before the transmission shit the bed.
For me, I just need to fix my broken garage door and clean my garage so I can wrench on stuff inside in the winter....
