The “cruise control” on some Fiats is just a knob you pull out until you feel it grab the throttle cable, and then twist to lock it. Just holds the throttle at that position, more throttle control than speed control :-P 

I think buying a Toyota made in Alabama does more for the US worker than buying a Chevy that was built in Mexico. Yes, there’s the “BuT ThE MoNeY GoEs To ToKyO!” argument but the flip side of that is when you consider the factory where they’re built, those workers aren’t going back to Japan to spend their paychecks. 

Oh trust me, I see that crap here in Portland too.. And it’s not just trucks, plenty of soccer moms who think because their ML500, Range Rover, or RX350 has AWD that means that it drives in snow/ice like it does on dry pavement...

My favorite thing with seeing the prices on these, is how whenever someone sees someone in a $45k BMW they’re like “ugh, entitled rich prick” but seeing someone in an $80k truck most people don’t have the same sentiment :-P

My guess would be cost. Making a lens that’s half amber, half red would be more $, and using an amber bulb behind a red lens just wouldn’t work, but a red bulb/reflector behind an amber lens will give you quasi-red light.

It was, and I’ve heard that you can bolt the supercharger onto those but have never tried it nor do I know exactly what’s involved in the swap.
