In my estimation, the montage scene from Palm Springs is better than anything else on this list. It’s also the best movie I saw this year, or at least the most entertaining.

PUT HER IN JAIL!

Now playing

There’s only one logical conclusion to be drawn here:

Nah, friend. I think the proper response would be to welcome Fincher’s foray here provided it is a thoughtful one (he’s got a good track record). Looking through these comments and related discussions happening on Twitter, seems like Fincher is being raked through the coals a bit. I don’t think it’s an example of

No doubt. I do think the right overemphasizes “cancel culture” as this world-destroying boogeyman.

I think the story definitely went of the rails somewhere around Halo 3. However, I emphatically believe that the story beginning with the Reach saga (pre-Halo 1) as first told in the novel of the same name (which was phenomenal when I was 14), through the events of Halo 1, 2, and parts of 3, is truly riveting. What a healthy perspective.

The show is an emotional roller coaster ride in the best sense. I think the last two seasons, in particular, rival the best of Mad Men

I thought I read somewhere that Healy was quoted as saying Notes is to Brief Inquiry what Kid A was to OK Computer. And, I feel like I’ve read lots of commentary from folks comparing the bands and their career trajectories. I am hugely biased in this (Radiohead is my favorite band). Thus, I find a lot of these

I don’t mind them. They’re talented. Some of their songs are pretty great.

I’m kind of shocked that the ending is so polarized... I thought it was sublime!

Totally! RDR2 seemed, in theory, like a game specifically designed for me. After three hours of gameplay I turned off the console and have not touched the game since.

That makes sense. Agree with all your points!

A few omissions...

I’ve been in love with Hayley Williams for as long as I can remember and am so happy she’s really come in to her own with this release. Great album!

This is a tremendous piece of music.
