Ad Astra is the first movie I have paid to see twice since No Country for Old Men. Needless to say, I thought it was a masterpiece.

In a world that is good and fair, Fleabag wins every single thing it is nominated for. Of course, we do not live in that world. We live in a world where Game of Thrones wins awards for excellence in writing and Donald Trump is President of the United States.
TRULY?!?!!?
Yep. My experience was similar. I would encourage you to go back and finish it for the reasons I listed above, but I don’t want to be pushy...
This is shameful, but not unexpected. I knew upon hearing that The Goldfinch was going to be adapted to film that the end-product, no matter the talent involved, would be underwhelming at best.
Oh, gotcha. I recall that silly controversy. Of course, Never Let Me Go is supremely well-written, convincingly heart-wrenching, and beautifully presented in a way that few novels are. If, despite all that, some folks don’t consider it “literary” because it somewhat occupies the science-fiction genre, well, I don’t…

Watching the Twins this year has been truly wonderful for this old Minnesota sports fan.
I have and it literally changed everything.
Meh, I’ve shit on her catalog just as much as the next lonely online contrarian but even I recognize that NFR is a great album if you meet it on its own terms. The writing is fantastic and acerbic.
*an objectively well-known
I love this type of artistic product. You know, the massively ambitious go-for-broke opus that a objectively well-known artist who desperately wants to be taken seriously puts out, un-beholden to a fan base or the type of music that passes for popular.
Her accomplishments are awe-inspiring but damn if Serena is not one of the most obnoxious athletes in all of sports. Sure doesn’t help that she’s married to this jackhole.
This advertisement is commercial art of the highest form.
What Jeremy Strong is doing with that role should be celebrated twice as much as it is.
I’m with ya. I think of all the main characters, Kendall is the closest to being a good person. I honestly think his motivation to take over the company was partially informed by his desire to use it more for good, and to abandon many of the Logan-inspired investments he’s disgusted with — the first season regularly…
