"The Salinas Valley is in Northern California. It is a long narrow swale between two ranges of mountains, and the Salinas River winds and twists up the center until it falls at last into Monterey Bay…"

We would make good friends, you and I.
Agreed.
The new Fleet Foxes album is what I am most excited for, and learning that Kevin Morby is also releasing new stuff this month is a pleasant surprise.
I respectfully disagree, and that's okay!
This show is still going?
I enjoyed it because I thought it was mostly good.
Barring a complete narrative collapse over the final two episodes (it frightens me that it could even be a possibility), I must say this show has completely redeemed Damen Lindelof in my eyes. To be sure, his past transgressions are several, but this show is one hell of an accomplishment.
I've never really understood the vilification of Prometheus because the characters were unrealistically dumb… As if human beings in reality are not also incredibly stupid when thrust into high stress situations (uhh, current state of affairs in the White House anyone?)
Not entirely sure if it qualifies, but the whole opening instrumental sequence of the Replacements' song 'Seen Your Video' and especially the final guitar bit is just groovy af and probably one of the best all around jams ever.

That game was fucking awesome.
I have absolutely no background knowledge of Gaiman's novel and so went in to this episode with a fresh slate. I thought it was completely bonkers in the best possible way.
I mean, there is no shortage of amazing rap albums over the course of the past two decades (including especially Aquemini, ATLiens, AND Stankonia), but for me, MBDTF is the high mark.
I'm finally nearing the end of Breath of the Wild. Life's many obligations have prevented me from playing it in lengthy stints, which I am not altogether upset about - it has allowed me to savor every little moment more fully. Nevertheless, I am seriously bummed that it will all soon be over. I have very fond…
The movie handled the Sonmi 451 story very, very well. In my opinion, it was the strongest part of the movie.
