I’m pretty much a butter and salt person. But Old Bay on popcorn is amazing. I also like to roast unsalted cashews in safflower oil and toss it Old Bay. Popcorn and cashews are my go to snacks. Old Bay has given my old habits a new luster!

Yep, this was 2009 ish. It was a blast. The Twins were in the playoffs so the place had a really good buzz around.

The pizza place I worked at has been open since 1956 and doing it the “Minnesota” style since day one. So while Red’s Savoy is good stuff, I think it has drawn some battle lines! 😁

Word, Zayda’s pizza toppings were spot on but I thought the crust was lacking. However, slamming Grain Belts in Seattle on the cheap was great!

Worked for 18 years at pizza place on the North Dakota/Minnesota border on Minnesnowta (yep, that’s on purpose) side of the Red River. I can assure that yes, square cut, loads of toppings and spicy sauce with a hint of sweetness is definitely an upper Midwest thing. But as far as “Minnesota” style pizza it only exists

I live in North Dakota, Grand Forks to be exact. I worked at the same pizza place for 18 years. We had a massive blizzard hit us on Christmas in 2009 maybe 2010. We were closed Christmas day but when you get 25 inches of snow over a 36 hour period not even the most well prepared municipality can handle that and for

I have a legitimate question. Before meeting my wife, I dated a woman that was adamant that for us to be connected during sex we shouldn’t use anymore protection than her birth control. For me this was a deal breaker. I was just out of a very long term relationship and didn’t feel I was ready for that level of

Yep, I don’t care if he is an Islanders he doesn’t have the cadence to narrate anything.

There was a year there were only four of us. I made Cornish hens for each person. It’s really the only poultry I like. Everybody got there own. Of course there were a couple of pies and the normal Thanksgiving sides in much smaller quantities but it was a successful Thanksgiving. Grandpa and uncle Denny went home

I mentioned in another post that I had gastric bypass. But even I’d make some sacrifices to try to tackle this thing. I know I’d get the sweats and the shakes and I’d probably have to tap out at some point. My wife wouldn’t be impressed either but sometimes you have to grab life by the hubcap sized cinnamon roll and

This is the point though right? Great art will always be debated. I’m certainly not saying that Cuphead has any shock value because it doesn’t. But look at punk bands like Siouxsie and The Banshees they used imagery very evocative of Nazis and hell The Joy Division took its name from a Nazi division intended on

It’s not all game meat. We have a ton of organic buffalo in North Dakota I can still eat that. But it is farm raised. I miss deer jerky like you wouldn’t believe!

I had gastric bypass about 10 years ago and one thing I miss is wild game. It tends to be to fibrous for my surgically enhanced stomach to break down. But the trade is I don’t weigh 540 pounds anymore. So I got that goin’ for me.

Yep, some sage sausage, chestnuts and crusty bread. Some melted butter, chicken stock, celery, onion and fresh garlic. Pick the seasoning you like. Rosemary, thyme and oregano are mainstays. Cook the sausage, sauté the veggies and mix all of it together cook until slightly crusty on top. Then, the last step. Gorge

Or some of us find turkey to be the worse than Cincinnati Chili.

Carbs are my friend.....probably my best friend. I’d be all over that!

*convince NOT CONNECT.

I loathe turkey of all ilks. That said I love stuffing even the gross stuff featured here. They make great stuffing waffles and you can dress them however you like. My go to stuffing/dressing is Sausage and Chestnut. Super rich, almost a meal in itself. Sadly, my family only recognizes the Midwest Power 5 of

My paternal grandfather loved his sweets and caramel apples and caramel corn were readily available at grandma and grandpa’s house. Grandma ALWAYS made this stuff from scratch and the apples were local from our farm. I was nearly 18 years old before I ever saw a candy apple. But thanks, to grandpa I never had to know

I picked up Mafia 3 for 5 bucks a month or two ago. I haven’t started it yet. So it’ll be more Destiny 2.
