Yeah, it's kind of sad he couldn't recognize Claire de lune. He could have at least tried to Shazam it.

I can only remember laughing once during goldmember. I recall am amusing cameo at the beginning. Otherwise that was it.
The Truman Show. Possibly my favorite movie of all time but the trailer which is just one scene of Jim Carrey goofing into the mirror makes it look horrible. I basically only saw it in the theater because my dad paid for it and I had nothing better to do that day. I'm so glad I went.

I'm up for the role of Ranger Rick.
OJ Eunt Domus!
They had previously beaten the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. If the Knicks had pulled it off that year, it would have been the only season in which the Knicks and Rangers both won their respective championships.
I thought she threw the apple at the cat to make the cat leave the room so that the orderly would also leave the room, allowing her to talk freely to the agents.
I listened to the whole album just now (it's fantastic, and I hadn't been a real Bowie fan, though I might become one). I immediately thought of Tchaik 6 given how much of the album basically says he's about to die. He even literally says "I'm dying" in one of the songs.
Yeah, that's many orders of magnitude off.
I posted a lot of nitpicky comments on the episode reviews for the last season and I pretty much completely disliked the show. I consider myself an amateur classical music expert and I play sax in a wind ensemble. However, I wasn't particularly bothered by any of the "fakery," whether it was Bernal's fake conducting…
Not bad, lol. Actually, here's some actual prog christmas stuff I like. It's Austin prog. The whole album is great.
I enjoy prog and symphonic metal as "guilty pleasures" being primarily a classical fan, but I won't even admit to liking Trans-Siberian or Mannheim Steamroller, even as guilty pleasures.
He probably didn't say it out loud. Most accounts say he just said "It worked." He stated in later interviews that he was thinking about the "I am become death" quote at the time.
I have to post this clip from American composer John Adams' opera "Doctor Atomic" which takes place the night of the Trinity test. Act 1 ends with Oppenheimer singing the whole poem. It's absolutely amazing. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
He grew on me. In the pilot, it seemed like a completely weird portrayal, like he was totally lost from humanity, but I think it got slightly more human as the show progressed.
I love the movie, though I don't see how you can really impose human morality on the aliens. The big problem in the movie is how it celebrates Richard Dreyfuss basically abandoning his family, which Spielberg pretty much outright apologizes for in a bunch of other movies, most notably War of the Worlds.
oh yeah, it was ron white, not engvall.

I think that's a bit unfair. From what I remember of that bit it has nothing to do with people with real cognitive disabilities. The idea is just that people should overlook aesthetic imperfections in potential mates since many of them can be fixed with lifestyle changes or plastic surgery. Instead people should more…
