I know you said car, but I'll go with next great gearhead vehicle, and nominate the Jeep Wrangler TJ. They made it for 10 years, and early build 4cyl models are getting cheap now. There's a TON of aftermarket support, parts aren't crazy expensive (unless you want to go craz .. which you can) and there's a built-in…
Trying to drive a dragster up Rod Millen's Leadfoot hillclimb course ...
It's slightly older than 10 years, but I'm going to go with the Chunnel. It's the longest underwater tunnel in the world, took over 6 years to build, carries approximately 17 million people (and the occasional Veyron) annually and allows people to cross the channel in about a third of the time of a conventional ferry.…
Yup ... they could be had with dual tanks. The shortbeds had 16g front/18.2g rears. Our '94 F350 with the 460 had (and genuinely needed) twin 18.2g tanks.

Easy. MORE stories/publicity about real, successful women drivers ... and LESS about mostly unsuccessful ones who some happen to think are attractive.
Brazil's Ethanol Program, which was implemented nearly 40 years ago. First off, their sugarcane-based system is far more efficient than our corn-based system. Second, currently 100% of all gas stations in Brazil sell either some ethanol blend (like E18 or E25) or 100% ethanol. as opposed to roughly 1% here. Also, as…
Depending on what you read, the total cost of this project to GM was between $500M and $1B. Yes, it was an advance in technology, with some dividends that are paying off today, but it was more or less a business failure.
"We're in the Rally!"
Start them young, like enrolling teens in the Tire Rack's Street Survival program, or something similar. Most driver's-ed classes teach students how to pass the state exam, NOT how to drive. You have to have the correct tools in your bag to pull from when things go wrong, and schools like these give young drivers…

Aww ... cutest fist bump evar.
Point taken ... though I wasn't the only one who thought the same.
Because the name was obscured, it seemed to me to be an attempt to hide his identity, and that if he did want his identity hid, they might want to think about obscuring the member ID # too. I was simply trying to address that fact, but if he's got no problem with it, then no worries.
Um .. FYI ... even a basic search of teh googles will find you the name of said SCCA member and what kind of car he or she drives.
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say jack and jack stands. I know that we'd all love for people to be able to work on their own cars, but let's face it, not everyone is born to be a mechanic. There are FAR too many people that have no business ever doing anything to their cars, let alone crawling underneath…
Not a repair, per se ... but I've seen enough bad roll cages in Lemons Tech to know that you REALLY need to let a professional handle it.
