I agree about Oswin. I was so happy to see how well the character and the actor worked that it gave me some hope for the Post Pond world.

Am I the only one that is a little disappointed that there isn't a "Team Charlie Jane" t-shirt?

Once upon a time, there was a Beaver named Sam. Now, Sam was known far and wide as one of the most intelligent and educated animals in the Alabaster Inglewood Retreat, and his words carried a lot of weight. One day, while walking through the forest, he stumbled upon Rasputin Rabbit, who was struggling to pull a rock

Just a small correction: Season 3 of Lost Girl hasn't aired in Canada yet, as it is slated to debut in both Canada and the US at roughly the same time. As it is my personal guilty pleasure, I am very excited for the new season to start!

I brought up most of these points to my wife when we went and saw First Class. Her response: "Look, it was a great movie that I saw you enjoyed. That's all that matters, just treat them as completely separate things and you'll be all the happier. Now stop your bitching and buy me ice cream."

Never EVER apologize for hinting at a Lando spinoff. If we can also get Carl Weathers on board to play Lando's long lost brother, we may have the single greatest thing ever conceived...

She does now < wink >.

Here's the thing though. While you are tweeting your 100 followers the plot of the movie, how good your nachos are, how uncomfortable the chair is, whatever, I am using my elite hacking skills to hack into your phone. That's right. I quickly find out where you are and where you and your family live.

Do remember the first time you saw Darth Maul? Way before you actually saw The Phantom Menace, but in the first previews and trailers they put out? When you see him standing there, and then extending the second blade from his lightsaber? How badass was that?

I have a small problem with the way they use the morally ambiguous Hondo on a weekly basis. Having him show up once or twice on a different side of the war works fine. Using him regularly in some sort of weird yo-yo pattern of honourable and despicable stretches my interest in the character too much.

Well... I just may be in love with the female tenth Doctor.

While I would love to see it, I'm not sure that it would be the same dynamic. Smith's Doctor is so... Alien... when compared to Tennant or Eccleston. I think what worked so well with the 9th and 10th Doctors relationship with Jack was how human they were, and how much Jack played off of that.

John Dies at the end is a bit of an oddball on the list. I first read it as a web serial about 10 years ago, and at the point I would have seriously questioned its inclusion on this list. But having re-read it not so long ago, I can definitely see some of the horror elements a lot better. A lot of it has to do with

Very cool list indeed. And while I agree completely about Patrick Troughton (despite the fact that I really haven'r been able to see nearly enough of his work), I kind of feel that Tennant deserves an honourable mention for really taking the character and the series as a whole to a much wider audience.

What the heck is up with her knees???

Please tell me that this has a Doctor Who tie-in with the Star Whale...

I agree. While it wasn't a perfect episode and had a few weird plot holes, it was enjoyable and worked well for me. So much of the past 2 and half seasons was incredibly Pond-centric. And while I liked it and Amy rates as one of my favourite companions, it's time for the show to shift a little back to the Doctor.

I always kind of regretted that he didn't die on the Enterprise. Any Enterprise really. From the very start of the series, the Enterprise was his true love. A scene where Kirk could have gone down with the ship in some heroic moment of self sacrifice would have resonated a lot better than the mundane death he was

Thanks for the warning. I kind of figured given the... you know... overall description of complete and utter bleakness. Maybe I'll give this one a pass. I *still* can't watch Futurama.

Okay, this sounds like something I would definitely be interested in, but I got to ask for a small spoiler... Does the dog make it? I know it's lame, but I just can't deal with stories where bad things happen to the dog.
