I have an ‘89 300ce, W124 Mercedes with the M103. It is signal red with a black interior, so kind of the opposite of what you are looking for. 89,000 miles, I’ve been taking good care of it.

I own a wonderful w124 Coupe, that if it could be relied upon to start, stop and turn with any certainty would be a great thing. I’ve only blown 2x the purchase price on maintenance and repairs, and have gotten 1,100 miles of bliss in four years. Crack pipe all day, and well into the evening.
Yeah, but the left pant leg needs extra diameter, if you get my drift.
Sorry, I’ve spent so much on German supercars while my Toyota keeps on starting, stopping, heating, cooling and entertaining. No sale.
$9,000 CDN? That’s only $6,962 in real money. Nice Price.
Sergeant Vince Carter of Gomer Pyle USMC died young, of a heart attack. I suspect he was a smoker.
My ‘42 Chevrolet 3/4 ton has a bed you can access from three sides, standing flat footed next to the truck. It is enough for me and my needs. I worked at a shop where all the latest and greatest lifted four door four wheel drive contractor’s trucks came to pick up their goods, so much lift over height to get stuff in…
We are still trying to wear out our Miata, a 1994 purchased in 1996 now with 84,000 miles, it needs a new windshield. Caught a rock a while back. That is it. What a nice ride.
If “Loud Pipes Save Lives!” does that mean “Quiet Bikes Kill!”?
And such a great personality! The Dodge and Ford aren’t ugly, the Camaro is.
Um, explain the difference between a houseboat and a boathouse?
“Somehow persuaded”: Cash in front of a salesman is pretty much what it takes.
$25,000? Crack pipe.
When Bob Satiacum was booted out of the cigarette business by the Puyallup tribe he sold smokes ‘til the day before his ban was to begin, brought in a D-9 Caterpillar and bulldozed all the buildings to the ground.
Owning six vintage cars with a 2,500 mile per year limit has been my strategy for a long time.
I had that set of washer dryer, in Avocado. Paid $50 each in 1980 and they lasted us 30 years until I sold the pair, still working, for $150. The (appliance white) front load low water use replacements are crappy and I hate them.
I’ve got Martin’s number in my phone, let’s call him.
When we bought our 2000 Solara SLE convertible off of Ebay in 2003 I asked the fellow how he felt about it when we picked it up. He said “It’s a good car” and shrugged, “but not a great car”. We have it still, some 70,000 miles later, 115,000 total. Of all our cars it is the one we hope gets rear ended because it’s a…
If you have salt corroded lug nuts holding on to your wheels with a death grip I’ve found that heating the lug nuts with a propane torch and melting candle wax on them allows you to remove said lugs. Capillary action draws the liquid wax into the threads, coating them with lubricating wax. Look for the air bubbles in…
